Being a teacher is one of the most challenging jobs because to manage so many students, who are from a different culture and different in nature is not easy. It is a teacher's responsibility to mold a student and prepare them for the future.

It's been 11 years since I last met my English Teacher Rajesh Sir. I was in the 9th when I first met him. I was a girl who used to be shy, scared, and quite all the time. Whether it was during the class or breaks, I was always in silent mode. It was hard for me to interact with others, and I use to feel uncomfortable around everyone. Rajesh Sir, use to notice all this.

So he started encouraging me in everything. Whether it was in the class, activities, interacting with everyone, taking part in the assembly, all he wanted me to speak and get out of my shell. But it was not an easy path for me. Mostly I either use to get embarrassed, or I use to get panic in front of everyone. But he never left my side, he kept helping me to do better and give my best.

I still remember when I was in my 10th, we had a function where the 10th class students were app

reciated, and it was kind of like a pre-graduation ceremony. That day each of us received a title, like Miss. Beautiful, Mr. Charming and the title I received was Miss. Shy. Everyone was cheering me, but the loudest cheer was Rajesh Sir.

After completing my 10th, I moved to a new school due to some circumstances, but I was not the same shy or scared girl anymore. I was confident, open, but still not talkative. Later as I completed my 12th, then college, I was more positive, spontaneous, and I socialized with more people.

Whenever I remember about those days, it just brings a smile on my face. Though it took me a bit of time to come out of my shell, it was Rajesh Sir who cheered me to be a better version of myself. It was him who believed in me that I could do anything.

Today on Teacher's Day, I thank him from all my heart for understanding me, encouraging me, and making me believe that I was capable of doing everything. #ThankyouTeacher You are my guru, my mentor, my teacher, and most importantly, my inspiration.

Thank You, Sir

Thank You, Teacher.
