MY STORY OF SUCCESS..A FEARLESS EXPLORER

When I was very little and joined my school GIIS, I caught an Exploration Bug. It started after I came to Singapore because of my dad’s work. It was 2016. I was surprised to see that this city is so small but still it is a whole country! But I got used to it. At that time I was just 9 years old when I visited the school, I had the entrance exam. I cleared it and joined class 3F the East Coast Campus. I had gotten a mug gift too. Once I entered the class, it felt very nice. The people there were very jolly and enthusiastic. They started talking to me. The teacher came and all of them went to their allotted places at once. The teacher called me, I introduced myself to the whole class, then the teacher appointed a buddy who helped me till I got habituated. I felt the school is awesome. The teachers explained the concepts very nicely and cleared my doubts. My friends directed me. We had many activity periods like: PE, music, dance etc. The field was big enough for all of us to play. There was an amazing thing that supervened when I was in East Coast Campus. There was a new campus established in 2018. It was known as the Smart Campus, Punggol. It was more advanced and excellent. There were teachers from all the campuses and also the students. It’s here where I unleashed multiple talents from within.

The smart campus was so new to us but we were so known to the smart campus, it would recognise us by our face and let us into the classroom; this really was awesome. The experience of being Smart Student got so real when I use my ID card for not only keeping my things safe but also guess what I can buy my favorite paneer butter masala from our canteen with the same card, things have changed so drastically to make us feel more safer and more advanced. I never thought MyGIIS exploration bug bite will uncover so many hidden talents within me, this gets me surprised whenever I think about it. I never knew that there is a such a Strong Athlete hidden in me until the time I was groomed by ECA teacher focusing on athletic skills to represent our school in the international athletic meet and get so much of accomplishments. It didn't stop there, further it also uncovered a Great Debater in me. I have been fortunate to team up with some of my lovely classmates and debate on some of the most critical motions.

Last but not the least, it’s an immense blessing when you realize that you are such a Graceful Dancer, all thanks to our dance teachers school events (annual day, Jhankar) that challenged us (my brother too ).Thank you so much GIIS for making me to be a FEARLESS EXPLORER. I am so excited to be part of this school, heartful thanks to everyone here. My fearless explorer bug so far; Smart Student  Strong Athlete  Great Debater  Fabulous Chef  Graceful Dancer and many more to come…eagerly looking forward to uncover them

Furthermore, the bug taught me to make these unprecedented times into a great opportunity to only realize a FABulous chef in me (Frankie And Bowl was my prize-winning healthy dish that can easily be made, packed and served to anyone, anytime), thanks to dad and mom of course for their support.
