My School Made me Achiever

Only 3 years of cream and maroon uniform transformed my life from nobody to some body. It was a quest to find what I am best at. What makes me stand apart from the crowd? I did decent in my academics, thanks to the patience, love and care of the teachers. “Knowledge is not what we see in examination result and mark sheet; it’s a piece of paper only. After focusing on a subject and covering it with whole heart and mind, the result it gives you is what we know as knowledge.”

But sitting inside the classroom, when the pale white paint and monotonous English and Science made me look out of the window, then I dreamt. It was a dream that got stuck. Soon the dream was reality and I became a young writer, sports player and a researcher to cover many international rankings, certificates and prizes. From being ‘Jyotisai Kar, Roll no. - 22, VII-H’ to my present designation ‘Cadet Jyotisai Kar’ my parents, teachers and those who came into my life (especially my best friends) showed me the path.

   So that is what my school made me – A Dreamer………… and isn’t that the first step to becoming an achiever???

        

        Some see school as a torture chamber

        Some can’t wait for the holidays of summer

        But it depends on how we look at school

        Honestly, positively, school is cool!!
