My Role Model

A role model is a person who encourages and inspires us to strive for greatness. A role model is someone we admire & aspire to be like. We look to them for advice & guidance. We learn through them, through their commitment to excellence and through their ability to make us realise our own personal growth. A role model can be anybody, but some of our most influential & life-changing role models are "Teachers".

It takes a great teacher to make a lasting impression & my Maths teacher certainly left one with me. Maths has always been a struggle for me, but a year ago, I fell in love with this subject. This is entirely due to the dedication, devotion & passion of my online Maths teacher - Mrs Geetika Pallan. Even though she teaches online, she connects very well with each & every student in the class. She explains each concept very clearly and she clears each and every doubt. She is extremely patient and keeps explaining one Math problem several times till each and every student understands. "Teaching is an art & she teaches from the heart!" She is a teacher par excellence.

Geetika mam isn't just an excellent teacher but she is a wonderful human being as well. She has taught me not only Maths but some very important life lessons too. She is a nature lover & her hobbies are gardening & painting. She is also a lover of English Literature & she loves reading books. She is always smiling & she enjoys life's little pleasures.

To conclude, Geetika mam has positively impacted my opinion on education because she is an exceptional Maths teacher I have come across. She has made this subject so easy & has given me the confidence in my ability to do Maths as well as methods to use in the future. She works out every problem on the board step-by-step which makes it very easy for me to learn. She is loving, caring and kind... A teacher like her is hard to find. I thank God for giving me the best Maths teacher in the world... She is truly a blessing!
