My first Holi with the Holy Divine

 It was not planned. It happened as if it was planned by the Divine of course. He who plans the whole universe does it too. But I being so ignorant, how can I imagine what's the plan.

       However, I was only 14 and was in the city of Vrindavan/India in the year 1980, March during Holi, for some family course. All of a sudden 3 neighbors girls of my age came to our relatives house and asked them to allow me to accompany them to world famous Holy Banke Bihari temple to watch divine Holi being celebrated there as an escort being male as without a male member there parents did not permit.

        My family being liberal easily gave permission with so many cautions as is generally parents or guardians do.

        We all had our bikes and were used to cycle it as we go to our schools by cycle. So we started, world famous Holy Banke Bihari temple was just half hour from our place. These girls were , then, 13 , 16 and 17 mature enough to understand pros and cones of being irresponsible more than me. I was a bit negligent as by nature but when with girls I become more attentive and respectful as my other sanskaars. 

         We reached the divine temple in scheduled time easily. There we were enjoying the holy activities with all pleasure then suddenly from the mike my name was announced to our shock and dismay at first we ignored thinking as heard wrongly but Saakshi the eldest was very sure they called my name with my surname and age. She said be ready you are really very lucky. I said never forget it you are mistaken, but again 2nd time my name in the same way was re- announced. Now all of us were shocked in happiness as this is for the luckiest one of that day whom lord Krishna choose himself even the head priest doesn't know or aware of as he announce name randomly and wait for 10 minutes if the called person appears it becomes his life time Holy Divine blessings. He would be considered there in that function as the closest sakha* to the Kannaha* 

         My 3 frenzy girls pushed me ahead and accompanied too and shouted yes he is here yes he is here, yes he is here and the crowed gave way to all of us to the center of the crowed where Holi was being played with flowers many other *Baal go Pala gopiya etc. were playing Holi with world famous Holy Banke Bihari jee I was made to be dressed by them like *Kannaha and treated as *Kannaha and all played Holi with me keeping me center showering flowers and chanting jai kannahiyaa laal ki haanthi ghoda paalki.

         No one can imagine this would happen as all planned , but it does I was totally stunned and doing all activities as it is Real Kannaha and not me I was not in me those moments, flying in the air not feeling any efforts and yes feeling the chandan like fragrance of temple and feel as if real kannahiyaa jee holding my hand doing it all ......... ......
