My Apple Tree! By Jumana Dhilla

At the Age of 5= It was finally My Winter Holidays! I decided to go to my Grandparent' house in Kashmir. I loved to go there as I used to move away from the hustle and bustle of the City. My grandparents used to live in a Hut on top of a Hill with their pet cat Sofie. I Reached there on 16th November and We decided to go out for some time. I brought a brand new Pashmina shawl and I really fell in love with it! We then decided to go eat " Phirni " Which was a quite Popular Sweet dish there, I loved that a lot too! We went back home and Ate dinner, After a while, Before Bedtime I decided to read a book and while reading I spotted a picture of my grandpa Planting a sapling with his Dad. I asked my grandfather about it and he told me that It was an Apple tree, And he still has it in his backyard. " I decided that the first thing I do in the morning is to go see that Iconic Tree!

The night passed, And it was currently 9:00 am in the morning and I decided to go see that tree after breakfast. I had breakfast and I saw the tree it was Nice and Big and Healthy. I quickly climbed up the tree and Picked out some Juicy and Fresh Apples, I decided that won't don't grow an apple tree with my Grandpa, I asked him and he told me that We can do it but we need some Saplings for that. We decided to grow it tomorrow and I spent the rest of the day by the River and playing in the Milky white Snow! The next day I brought an Apple tree sapling and I decided to grow it besides My grandpa's Tree. I Planted the tree With the help of my grandpa and Watered it Daily. 

It was the end Of my holidays and the Tree had grown a bit And I watered it the last time and left-back for my Town and My grandparents Watered it every single day and It kept on growing Nice and big. 

17th November 2019

At the age of 10- So, 5 years passed and I went back to Kashmir as I love to go there in my Winter holidays! I went back there and the first thing I did was I took a look at my tree. It had grown till my height and I wondered that how much time does it really take for it to grow nice and Perfect. "I asked my grandpa and he replied " It mostly takes 9-10 years" and like I was like that is sooooo looonnggg!!! But I had to have Patience! I spend the rest of my days In Jammu and I went to the Dal lake and It was Completely Frozen! And I did Ice skating as well But it was my first time but my Granny was a Pro even at the age of 67! So I came back in 2021!

23rd July 2021

So I came on my birthday! I turned 12 and I took a look at my tree and it had grown soo big!! I climbed it up and I took out some fresh Kashmiri Apples and Tasted it and it was sweet as Heaven! I was soo proud of my tree and In the future, this tree is gonna give me happy tears and A set of precious Memories!! I loved my grandparent's house!
