Mr. John?

it was one hot summer afternoon; Jamie and her friends were strolling through the sidewalk enjoying ice-cream and talking when they came across an abandoned house ... 2 of her friends: Julie and Sarah started whispering the rumor's they heard about the house ... "they say that Mr. John used to live here" said Julie, "who is Mr. john?" asked Jamie... "you don't know? it's really scary though" said Sarah.. "Mr. John Anderson was a normal gardener who was loved by everyone ... one day he heard some noise from the house next door and found a man shot dead lying on the ground, many people said that they suspected Mr. John even though he was proven guilty" Sarah said... "oh man that's sad... whatever happened to him after that?" asked Jamie. Julie said "no-one knows, apparently Mr. John was sad and shocked after the incident so much , he never would come out of the house ,, even when the neighbors offered him freshly baked cookies or invite him to get-togethers ,, he just wouldn't open the door ... my mom said that she heard Mr. John screaming and when she went to ask what happened no-one replied" ,, Sarah continued and said "Julie's mom called the police and they couldn't find anything there ,, neither Mr. John's body or any traces of someone coming in and out of the house... another officer was found dead at the front door the same night, no-one knows how he died ,, there was just a locket next to the body which belonged to Mr. John'' ''that's tragic indeed, no wonder its abandoned ,, maybe it's haunted , let's go check it out" Julie and Sarah disagreed but Jamie didn't care , she loved adventurous stuff and this screamed her name,, she walked up to the house and wiggled the door handle a little and it slowly opened letting out a creak which terrified Julie and Sarah ,, Jamie signaled them to come inside but they were too scared .. She eventually went in alone and not wanting to leave their friend alone Julie and Sarah followed Jamie. they were just looking around the house when Jamie thought she saw someone sitting at the dining table... Julie and Sarah saw that too and suggested to leave but Jamie was persistent. "Mr. John? is that you? I'm sorry to barge into your house like that but I was wondering if we could talk?" Jamie said while slowly approaching the dining table. she kept her hand on his shoulder and said "Mr. John?" the figure slowly turned around and stood up while the girls stared in horror, the figure had one pierced eye with metal , its nose was cut off and its lips were sealed, there were deep scars on his face, and it looked like his head was cut off and would fall off any second... the figure let out a growl and the girls ran out of the house screaming while the figure was still following them... they screamed help at the officer in front, the officer turned, and the girls hid behind him "there!! zombie!!" said Julie while pointing towards the house... the officer went to check it out and there was nothing... he said, "don't you girls have anything better to do than waste my time?" "But sir, we swear there was a zombie over there, it was following us," said Julie ... the officer scoffed and left while the girls tried to process what just happened... they decided to try not to think about it and left... a while later when they passed through the house, Jamie said "oh man, I wish I knew who or what that was",, Julie scoffed and said, "but i don't ,, we almost died that day" Sarah nodded in agreement and said "eee, it is giving me the chills, let's get out of here and never come back" .. the girls left not wanting to know anything more about the house meanwhile the same man who was following them was staring at them through the window and it was indeed Mr. John
