Midas Part 2

He zoomed past the clouds, over the city, most likely leaving a trail of white behind him. He knew that the heroes would arrive in minutes. The detection system of the city had become too good. But today was the day and he could not deny it.

‘Back again Galacto?’

He turned to see Midas on the nearest rooftop behind him. His suit was too golden and it made his eyes hurt.

‘Back? I’m just roaming around for a fly. Want to come with me? Oh wait. You can’t fly.’

A blast of fire came hurtling towards him. Jin had an ice block against him in no time. The energies collided into mist.

‘Still so childish,’ he murmured and then flew out of Midas’ range. He had work to do.

‘What do I have to do?’ he asked the mirror through the suit. He heard its voice in his head. Seventy seven street. There is a girl who walks it. Abduct her.

‘And do what?’

Nothing. She is a tempered woman who does as she wills. She is going to fire all her employees today. If you take her away, you save those people’s jobs. If you’re lucky, she’ll learn a lesson.

‘I don’t care. Just fly me there. I don’t know the streets well.’

The mirror sighed. You should get out every once in a while, know your city. It’s the least you can do being their supervillain.

‘Just take me there.’
