Maa and self love?

I looked at my mother cooking for the family in the kitchen as usual and a chain of questions came to my mind that I wanted to ask..

Hey Maa, I've got a question... When was the last time you looked at yourself in the mirror and smiled? When was the last time you thought that you looked beautiful?

In this world of sacrifice and giving up your dreams for your family, when was the last time you thought about self-love? When was the last time when you complimented yourself other than your child or husband or someone else?

All these questions only remained in my head and I couldn't say it out loud, however, I wish to have the courage to finally get some answers someday.

So I just went around her back and hugged her, crying and thanking her for everything.
