Fifteen years is a long period to forget a number of things but not the love you were ready to die for. Outskirts of Texas suburbs was still hazy, Big Joe's was still deserted, a few passers-by were eating a quick dinner before continuing their nightlong journey.

As a regular for last 10 days, Liz the waitress just came to ask me if I wanted more coffee but I refused and she left.

Ten days and there was not a single glimpse of Nisha and that sad child as described by Deepak, a common friend of Nisha and me.

"Are you looking for someone........?" —asked Liz while going to attend another customer.

"Yes, a woman and child, who most probable visit your hub not a very long ago."

"A number of people visited lately but I cannot remember any particular woman and child." —said Liz and went to attend another customer.

Fifteen years ago, Nisha, my long-term friend and I decided to get married as we were in love. But Nisha's father vicious gangster Deva didn't like it at all, he forbade me to meet Nisha by sending two ruffians to me. But I wanted to meet Nisha and when I went to meet her at the gangster's farmhouse; I was astonished to see that Nisha was getting married. Deva was out there and he told his men to shoot me immediately.

Two bullets in my chest and I was thrown into chilled water of river Kali valley. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the bullet missed vital organ of my body and some yacht men saved me. I spent five months in hospital juggling between life and death. When I came out of the hospital the gangster Deva was no more as warrior Jack had wiped out him from the Kali Valley along with his gang. I knew nothing where Nisha was but a few months ago Deepak an NRI friend told me that he saw Nisha with a kid girl in Texas USA. I had spent my life alone as there was no gain to marry another girl because there was Nisha everywhere in my brain and soul. I knew that she was married but I wanted to see her at least once.

Someone laughed loudly and interrupted my thoughts. I was about to leave when I saw she was there and the girl child was also with her. She looked at me with her blank eyes and turn back to go out of the restaurant.

"Nisha........!" —shouted I like a madman. I threw $ 50 on the restaurant's table and ran towards the entrance of the restaurant. By the time I came out of the restaurant Nisha and the kid girl were on the other end of the freeway on which the restaurant situated.

It was dark outside but my eyes could see them, I was chasing them like a sprinter but it was impossible to reach them. After ten minutes of chase, they entered an orchard but now I couldn't see them. There were three mounds and a deep ditch out there, I tried to penetrate through the dark but I couldn't find them. Suddenly a heavy think struck my head and I fell on the ground. When I gained senses, I saw I was in the deep ditch with my hands and feet tied with nylon ropes. A lanky man with a spade standing up out there on the ground.

"Finally, you came here Mr. Sidhant, you destroyed my life. Nisha was married to me but she never accepted me as her husband, even after the birth of our daughter she had no place for me in her life." —said the man with a lot of hate.

"Now time to pay back Mr. Sidhant, I'll bury you alive and take my revenge......!" —said the man and started filling the ditch with the loose soil.

I wanted to scream but no words came out of my mouth and soon I was buried under the soil and chocking on the dust. It was a matter of a few minutes; my eyes were moist at the sad end of my love.

Suddenly a very powerful hand pulled me out of the ditch holding my shirt. There was no dust no soil on my body.

"What the hell have you been doing in this grave?" —A highway patrolman inquired.

"What is this place? Did you see a man, a woman, and a kid girl.......?" —asked I instead of answering his question.

"Mr are you mad or something else, this is a graveyard, why should a man, a woman, and a kid come here......?" —another patrolman blurt irritatingly.

"Planning to go out of this graveyard or want to spend the whole night here?" —asked the patrolman.

"No, please take me to the freeway........I don't want to stay here." —said I getting into the patrol car.

"Mister this is a sad place, some ten years ago a man from India died in a car accident along with his wife and a kid girl on this freeway......no one came to claim their dead bodies so authorities decided to bury them in this deserted graveyard.......!" —said the patrolman driving his car slowly towards the freeway.
