"Do you love me?" Ritika teasingly asked Mannat.

"Do you have any ounce of doubt?"Mannat replied with equal conviction to Ritika.

And this was only the beginning of Pandora's Box. Ritika started throwing the volley of questions and Mannat exquisitely started reposing her faith in his answers.

"But then, why do you love me?"

"Do I need any reason to love you"

"Yes, of course."

"If today I have a reason to love you, tomorrow I will definitely have a reason to leave you."

"Do you really think you love me for no reasons?"

"Yes, without any second thought."

"Then, should I take my mesmerising eyes, ravishing beauty, curvaceous waist, slim wrist, scintillating breathe and titillating grooves for granted?"

For a moment Mannat was in a Catch-22 position but very swiftly he came out of it with a splendid explanation.

"Darling, have you heard of icing on the cake! You are the chocolate cake and the unmatched ornamentation of yours is icing on the cake. And I must confess I am the luckiest one to have you as my soul mate."

Though for the time being, Ritika got floored by theexceptional reply of Mannat, yet she continued her rendezvous fleet of queries.

"So, didn’t you ever feel that this is the one thingfor which I can do anything for this haughty girl?"

"Well, if I say no then I would be menacingly cruel. Ritika, the day I started loving you ,I stopped loving myself. I can die for your faithin me and the respect for our relationship."

Now this was something like Jack saying something so pretty that cannot be questioned by Rose before the Titanic hit the iceberg tomeet its Waterloo. Ritika felt ecstatic with the answer but Ritika was in total mood of bringing the best out of Mannat.

"My dear Mannat, have you ever thought of losing me?"

Now Mannat caught the nerve of Ritika and said "Yes, I do at times ,but then I should tell you that danger is the quintessence of romance. Romance can never happen in isolation of intimidation if the society in which we live is orthodox."

"Okay, don't you ever think of those boorish girls who used to run behind you in college?"

Mannat, anyhow hid his shy face but retorted-"If I say I don’t, you would not believe. I must say I think of those girls and feel how stupid they were. What kind of bad fashion sense, ugly sense of life and worst sense of companionship they had. I think of them to think how lucky I am to find you."

Now this was a sixes for Ritika.

"Oh, ho. So this is what keeps you busy throughout the night after bidding me good night as early as 9 in the night."

"No dear, the thought of yours keeps me busy and I just try to spun those thoughts in words for you".

"I think it's ages now that you wrote any thing for me. Can you tell me the last date when you wrote for me." "See, what I have written for you last night.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the lipstick

Lying on your lips

Every time you move them

I do nothing with them but licks.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the mascara

Bordering around your eyelashes

With each blinking of yours

I just expand your flashes.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the bangles

Revolving in your slim wrist

With each tinkle of those

I find the entire world coming to the rest.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the garland

Spun in your long hair

With each jostle of its bun

I find the universe even more fair.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the nose ring

Dangling in your nose

With each warm breath

I find you coming to expose.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the earring

Dancing in the lobes

No sooner do you sway

Than a shy captures doves.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the sweat

On your bare breasts

With each up and down

I am the joy on crests.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the anklet

Tied around your legs

Nevertheless you move them

Even the god craves for beg

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the sari

Wrapped around your curvaceous waist

Whenever you tie and untie it

I get a chance to kiss it moist.

Why I feel sometimes that

I am the bindi

On your forehead

Each time you face the mirror

I face all over your shade.

Ritika was awestruck by the words of Mannat . Okay, now I give up and I am sure you are best that God could have ever given to me and she hugged Mannat caressingly.
