Love At First Sight

It was Saturday , Priyanka was going to visit the countries largest animal shelter. Over there all the animals had no one to take good care of them. Priyanka was really excited to see these animals. Priyanka's parents were ready so Priyanka's father got the car from the parking and put the directions. The way to the animal shelter was really bumpy but after an hour or so Priyanka and her parents had reached. Priyanka saw so many animals but there was one really adorable puppy named Nick, which she loved at first sight. Priyanka wanted to take this puppy home as she just loved him too much so she decided to ask her parents whether she could keep Nick as her pet forever and guess what her parents said yes. Now the fun had started Nick and Priyanka would run around everywhere. They would create a lot of mischiefs together. They were like best buddies and Nick would protect her whenever anyone used to trouble her. Though they both weren't the same they were always playful together. They would cuddle each other and sleep.

But there was an unlucky day when Nick was lost. Priyanka was really worried, she searched every single corner of the house and even checked the neighborhood but couldn't find him. Priyanka wouldn't eat or drink anything as she was extremely sad and couldn't control her fat tears. She cried uncontrollably for the next few weeks. Her parents would tell her that there would be a day when Nick will come back with his tail wagging behind him. Priyanka would never leave hope, she would search day and night for Nick. She even missed school for almost a month and was almost struck of her roll. But her parents luckily had sent an email so it was fine. She would get sleepless nights as she was always used to the cuddly soft fur of Nick. That night she got a dream in that she was told that she would never be able to find her puppy as she doesn't know how to take care of dogs properly. Priyanka woke up with a startle at 7:00 am. Priyanka was always positive and would never think negative and she would always believe in one mantra " be positive your life will automatically change ". This mantra even today is believed by many people.

The next day it was Priyanka's 18th birthday and guess what Nick was finally found.

Priyanka was really happy that she got happy tears and hugged Nick and told him never to run away like this. Now nick was no longer was a small puppy. He was a fully grown Labrador and had got pure white fur with a tinge of ochre yellow fur. Nick was still a cute dog but because of a lot of age, he had got many wrinkles in his body. But that didn't matter to Priyanka she still loved Nick the same.

Priyanka and Nick played all day long and Nick was given a small playhouse to play in. He loved Priyanka and her parents and always wanted to be part of their family as they treated him extremely well.

When it was Nick's birthday Priyanka decided to make a birthday cake for Nick and gues what Nick literally finished the whole cake leaving only crumbs on the plate. His mouth was all dirty with chocolate icing on him.

And like this only Priyanka and Nick always helped each other and become best buddies even though they are not exactly the same.
