Far far away there lived a boy named Aladdin, he lived in a small cottage by the mountains with his old mother. One day he went for a daily stroll to the mountains to explore the unknown. While he was exploring the mountain he discovered a dusty old lamp. Seeing this lamp, Aladdin rubbed the lamp with his hand to take off the dust. In a flash a smoke started coming out and a genie appeared.

He told Aladdin that he could grant him twowishes, hearing this Aladdin was really excited. For his first wish he wanted to be back home. The genie granted his wish and in a second Aladdin reached his cottage. Alladin told his mother all about the genie. His mother then told him not to become greedy and ask for things that could help his village people.

So the next day Alladin made his second wish. He told the genie to build a dam to collect the water and safely transfer it to the rivers so that no village gets flooded. The genie was surprised by his wish and asked him why he had not asked for something for himself. Alladin then told him that he liked taking care of his village people. Hearing this explanation the genie decided to grant his wish and within seconds the genie's magic took place. Now all the village people were really happy for years as their villages would never get flooded and still used to wonder how the dam was built and who built them.

Moral: This story tells us we should always think about others and not only think of yourself
