Mayank had a dream since his childhood. He wanted to fly a plane and be a pilot. He was always busy making paper planes in the classroom and flying the paper planes everywhere. His father was a businessman. Mayank never focused too much on studies in school. However, he read a lot about rockets and planes. He wanted to experience the thrill of flying.
Years went by and Mayank applied for the Indian Air Force. He worked very hard but could not clear the exam. He now wanted to join a commercial flying institute. However, it would cost a lot. He discussed this with his father and expressed his desire of being able to fly. His father supported him and he applied to a pilot training institute. However, once again he was rejected as he didn't qualify for the physical test. He took a break and applied again next year. Once again, he was rejected. This continued for a few years. Slowly he started becoming depressed and had lost his purpose in life.
One day, he saw a video of a motivational speaker who spoke about how he changed his goal in life to make his life meaningful again as he could not achieve his goal of becoming a doctor. He spoke of letting go of your goals to set new goals in life. Mayank realized that he also should let go of his goal of being a pilot as he has tried very hard but maybe God has better plans for him. He moved on in life and became a very successful entrepreneur. He was presented with an award at the Annual Business Award and there he shared the importance of "Letting Go"
