Just another day
Just another day
The softness tickled my hand. I flowed my hand through their soft majestic bodies, or the tender grasses walked under, over, and along my palm injecting in me a strong feeling to never lift myself off them.
My sight ran through the greenish-yellow velvet up the tough brown valley of caves through which walked a population of small six-legged beauties. Carrying leaves on their enthusiastic backs, the red and black ants moved through the carvings on the trunk that stood up high, holding an umbrella of green aloft. The branches gave rise to a flock of leaves, shining orange on their green skin.
Every leaf held a shine of their King. Just like every person holds a memory of their leader deep within the turns of their hearts. Time for the hero to rest.
The white cottons floating in the sky performed a closing ceremony to inaugurate the resting time for the Hero, the King, or the Sun... Well, whatever you call him. The bright orange ball of light slowly went down the backdrop of shiny ripples of an unending orangish-blue stretch of water, while the Great Roof of the Earth changed its color from orange to dark blue.
Her soft touch settled on my hand. I looked at her. There rested on the great masterpiece of sculpture, the face of joy, her lips arched down. And the luminous eyes reflected a tinge of orange against the blue iris. Smiling sizzling beauty.
Only it's me who ruins the landscape. Everything so perfect... Well, you can't identify the beauty spots in absence of the ugly black spots. Hence, I am not a liability people. Wisdom needs idiocracy to exist. Yeah, anyways.
The thing is that, if she gets herself close enough to me without realizing the thing I really am, she's going to be in trouble. To start, I destroy school property, I destroy peace, I have such a radiation of stupidity that even the most intelligent go silly around me. I don't deserve her. A lifetime with me? I would've torn the paper listing that thing in the to-do list right at first sight. But she didn't. Gods.
I lifted up my sight. There's the blue sky married to the beautiful moon. Spending together a lifetime, and decorating their house with specks of coolness. Nature's so freaking awesome.
I turned down my eyes at her. The luminescent eyes showed me. Just me. They reflected me. And I was pretty sure that she was having the same experience as me. That she saw herself in my eyes. It's good to chill out. To enjoy every moment to the fullest. Let's not worry about the future or so. I won't really be sad if she ever left me.
I said, "I...", and she said it too. Together.
"Come on, you first", said she.
"You go first", said I.
"I love you", she said.
"Love ya too, dream girl."
A cool breeze played itself against us as we held our hands together, swinging our legs at the cliffside.
