Is Life Here?

The famous clichéd quote that life is unpredictable! Many times I wondered about what life is all about? Is it about love, about relationships, about dreams, about jobs or is it about food, holidays and wine?!

 

I never found an answer to this question, what is life all about? If I consider my daily life, it is about the work I do and the time I spend with my family but the question remains, am I living enough?

 

When I lie down after a tedious day, I often look at my tired husband's sleeping face and I think, life is here...

 

When I go home, and I see my mother smiling, I think, life is here. When I go to school and see my children, I think life is here. When everyday the clock strikes 12, I think, life will be there.

 

We never think about the fragility of life, how easily we take it for granted, we think that life will always be there for us...but alas! The truth is different. Life is an emotional being, if we neglect it, it stops thriving, and if we embrace it, we start living!

 

Life is not short, it's as long as you want it to be! We are not larger than life but trust me, our deeds can be...so if you are just like me who thinks what if we fade away oneday, just remember that you still have a life... try to live it to the fullest!

 

We are not immortal, we will fade away with time, the only thing that will remain on the face of earth is LIFE...so celebrate life, celebrate each day, smile, spread smiles. Who knows probably life will bless us with some extra days to be with our family?! Don't you count that as a 'blessing'?
