Maruf took his pen and paper and started to write draft of his story:

.......The professor of Psychology entered the classroom to teach about the importance of religion in society. He was in the middle of his lecture, discussing genetic determinism and social determinism in Evolutionary Psychology. Suddenly, he stopped and made an excuse to leave the class. Perplexed, the students couldn't understand why their professor had abruptly left. The professor walked outside and stood alone, gazing at the dry, blue sky. The Malaysian sky felt hot and devoid of spirituality. No emotions stirred within him, yet he chose to stare at the vast expanse above. In silence, tears streamed down his face as he contemplated, "How can I tell these students that their Allah is no more? That their Allah has vanished, no longer the author of the universe? Should I continue pretending, teaching and consoling like other hypocritical professors, just to secure my salary? How can I utter these words that they least expect in this Islamic University?"

Suddenly, he whispered to himself, "Forget it." He returned to the classroom and carried on with his lecture as if nothing had happened. For the past 30 years, he had been delivering the same lectures. Every semester, new students would come, listen attentively, and soon forget after graduation, consumed by their professional lives. Life, it seemed, revolved around practicality and pleasure.

.......

Maruf read but did not like the draft....he took out the page from pad and fold and threw into dustbin.

He started to rewrite the story line :

The professor of Psychology shuffled into the classroom, burdened with the task of discussing the significance of religion in society. As he droned on about genetic determinism and social determinism in Evolutionary Psychology, the students struggled to grasp the concepts. They felt lost, unable to comprehend why their professor suddenly halted his lecture and made a feeble excuse to leave the room.

Outside, the professor found himself in HS Square, a desolate space where he could witness the arid blue sky. The Malaysian atmosphere lacked any semblance of spirituality, offering no solace. Though devoid of emotions, he compelled himself to fix his gaze upon the lifeless heavens. Unbeknownst to his students, tears trickled down his cheeks as he pondered his predicament.

"How can I shatter their world, reveal that their Allah is nothing more than a faded memory? The all-powerful deity they once believed in has vanished, leaving them adrift without purpose. Should I continue this façade, pretending to teach and console, just to secure my pitiful salary? How can I dare to utter these blasphemous words within the confines of this Islamic University?"

His despair grew unbearable, but with a sigh of resignation, he whispered, "Forget it." Returning to the classroom, he resumed his monotonous lecture, devoid of passion or conviction. For the past three decades, he had repeated the same monologue, year after year. The students would come, obediently listen, and then discard his words upon graduation, consumed by the banality of their professional lives. Life, it seemed, revolved solely around practicality and fleeting pleasures, leaving the professor to drown in his own pathetic existence.

............

"Damn....I do not like the story" Maruf said to himself. I do not want to write....He started to read for his assignment.
