I am their PRIDE
I am their PRIDE
My parents never forced me to do anything. They never said, "You have to do this." But they’ve always supported me in every step of my life. I don’t avoid certain things because I’m scared of them — I avoid them because I know they trust me. I know I am their pride, and I never want to break that trust.
They’ve always taught me life lessons through their actions. They respect my grandparents, they take care of our family without ever complaining. By watching them, I learned what real responsibility and respect mean.
One of the biggest lessons they taught me is to never tell a lie. Yes, the truth can sometimes hurt, but a lie brings regret. And that regret can stay with you for a long time.
They also taught me that even if no one is watching, God always is. So we should always do the right thing — not for others, but for ourselves.
Another important thing they told me is to never treat others badly, even if they treat me that way. If someone disrespects me or uses harsh words, that doesn’t mean I should do the same. I should stay kind, because my actions reflect who I am, not who they are.
They’ve always said that everything in life happens at the right time. And I believe them — now and always.
At the end of the day, I don’t make good choices out of fear. I make them out of respect and love. Because I know — I am their pride, and I will always try to make them proud.
