Happy Virtual Birthday

Dear Diary,

Tomorrow is going to be the birthday of one of my really good friends. One of the main results of my disappointment with the lockdown is the cancelling of the grand plans I had organised for my friend's happiness.

I was going to surprise her with our whole group with many presents and balloons and mainly two cakes. The two cakes were going to be the cherry on the pudding. While one cake was for the normal cake cutting the other was going to be smashing on her face, I know it was waste of cake, but we would have anyway licked it off her face.

This is why I am going to be staying up till 12 today, to wish her. I really want her birthday to be special, and not get ruined due to this COVID-19.
