Happy Janmashtami

The Hindu community celebrates a religious occasion today. A day when Lord Krishna was given birth by the Queen Devaki. It is said that Krishna Ji was very notorious but he taught us many lessons. He taught us to Never give up on Love. Krishna Ji had a deep love for the flute and he never stopped playing it. Even during times of wars he used to carry flute. He taught us to being of Service to our fellow men. He saved people of Vrindavan from being poisoned.

While, they might have not been close to him, but he was still drawn to being of Service to them. Being of Service to mankind is considered as being of service to God. He taught us to stay humble. Even though he was a God he never forgot to respect his teachers and parents. Krishna always smiled from his birth. He dealt with many situations but he never forgot to put a smile on his face. Generosity was his other name friend Sudama offered rice to him he accepted the rice happily without caring for anything else. He performed his duties diligently. Even if he was the Lord of the Universe he never forgot to perform his duties as a friend and God. Krishna taught innumerable lessons, so let's pledge to make this Janmashtami by following his path.
