Happy Dussehra Puja

Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth and the final day of the nine-day festival of Navratri. The festival of Dussehra, also known as Vijaydashmi is celebrated to mark the triumph of good over evil. The festival falls on the 10th day of the Hindu month of Ashvina. This year, it will be celebrated on Friday, Oct 15.

The festival is celebrated richly and grandly across the country, especially in northern India and West Bengal. In some parts of the South, the day sees several poojas and spiritual processions take place to mark the end of the Durga Puja.
