The intricate carvings on the gilded frame adorned the embellished mirror. It fogged up on chilly winter mornings. She touched it carefully and flinched as the cold surface touched her warm skin. She loved the Victorian mirror, seemingly an heirloom of an affluent aristocratic family, instantly.

Pinning up her last dangling curl, she glanced at her sumptuous reflection. Gorgeous lips painted a lustrous sangria, perfectly tinted cheeks, creased eyelids and an antique headpiece crowning her forehead. She looked no less than the goddess of Moon in all her might, an untamed rose in the wild forest. She again glimpsed at her dazzling white gown, admiring herself before leaving. The mirror reflected her elegant silhouette as she strode away, just like a longing desire.
