She: I love you too.
He(little worriedly) who is the other one?
She: haha, I can never have too much of you.
He: is that a singular promise.
She: singular or plural, it’s all part of the grammar of love.
He: talking of grammar, how is your grandma?
She: words sounding similar are called homonyms. BTW, my granma is fine.
He: you have added to my vocabulary. I only knew of synonyms and antonyms. BTW, are we antonyms?
She: we are the yin and yang as the Chinese call it.
He: Don’t use Chinese concepts. Make in India, don’t you know?
She: Don’t bring in politics, I don’t know of Indian equivalents. BTW, I am using a Chinese brand phone.

The signs of spring are everywhere in the city. The trees were seen in full blossom with the yellow Peltophorum and the pink Jacarandas. Season of love and courtship. Our two friends were playing their part as actors in the theatre of the world and scheme of very nature itself.
Kamadev and Rati were unseen outside the Goanese café perched on the Jacarandas where our protagonists were engaged in foreplay. They were like ‘predators’ of the same name and fame Hollywood series. But unlike the predators, their intention wasn’t to kill but spread love.
Far away Shiva who could see everything through his third eye nudged at Parvati and said let us go to bed. Parvati demurely followed him. Shiva had come back after a very long meditative session fully charged. She smiled to herself thinking that she does not have to create and give another life to a clay toy to keep her boredom away. Shiva would keep her engaged in the primordial aspect of life. When they made love it sent tremors throughout the universe.
NASA scientists were wondering what caused this tremor and were deploying the satellite to study the source of this tremor. Back in India on the foothills of an ashram the bearded guru knowingly smiled when he felt the tremor. He understood the cause of the tremor with all his traditional wisdom imbibed from the classics. He stroked his beard and looked for his own Parvati among numerous disciples.
