Finding Myself

It took me long enough to find myself in the chaos of life; to seek what I love; to discover what makes me happy.

Through many trials and errors, from huge smiles to endless crying, I gathered my courage to stand up for myself because, in the end, it's me who matters! Having people who I loved, made feel like I'm the happiest person alive but when they left me one by one, it shattered precious heart into million pieces. One after another, I tried doing things that would have made me happy; nothing worked the way smile of my loved ones did.

I found my peace in the world of novels: characters became my best friends - my dear ones. I started my days with Jane; at dawn, I was with Elise. Their stories became my stories; their emotions were my emotions; that's when I found that my shattered heart has started picking itself up.

And I, again through all happy highs and atrocious lows, finally managed to find myself. The lesson I learned was that I don't need a tribe to make me happy; I only need myself to be brave.
