Festival Diwali
Diwali is festival in which we worship Goddess Laxmi. People observe the fast and worship goddess Laxmi. Goddess laxmi is symbol of prosperity, courage and purity. Now a days there are many crimes in our society. There is need to bring some drastic change in Meaning of Diwali.
1. There is a need to change our perspective towards Women. Women, now need to be treated same way as we treat our God. They should never be cheated in relationship, misbehaved and disrespect. We should promise to Goddess Laxmi that we will be respecting everyone. Respecting women will surely bring happiness and prosperity in life.
2.Goddess Laxmi is worshipped on the special day of Diwali. Before Diwali we clean our house, keep ourselves clean and mind clean. It is very important to keep ourselves positive and keep our soul and mind clean. We should not harm others.
3.It is observed that people keep fast on Diwali. The reason behind having fast is to keep our body healthy. We stay away from too spiced food. Today, with so fast living style, we need to understand that we should always keep our body healthy. Due to covid, many people have lost their life, so we need to strengthen our immunity.
4.The Diwali is the festival which reminds us of our duty. We must perform our duties and responsibilities in life. We all have responsibilities towards our society and family. We should plant more and more trees, help the needy people, share the food, in form of bhandara or share food as per one's wish. This is very kind and noble way to share the food to the needy people.
The owner gives gift to his employees, and people distribute old clothes or new clothes, sweets to people.
5.It is very important to be self-reliance and self-dependent. There can be any problems in life. One should be self-dependent and confident to defeat the worries or problems in life. We must also have capabilities to fight evil in form of lies, worries, insecurities, negativity etc.
6.It is observed that people pray the idol of Goddess Laxmi. After completion of pooja, people immerse the idols and other worship materials in water, river, ponds etc. By doing so, they not only disrespect the Goddess but also disrespecting and harming nature. We should take care of nature
7."where you can't respect your old parents, God never resides the house". The Diwali festival is not just about the worshipping of Goddess Laxmi but also respecting and taking care of her form. The parents are the form of God. One should love and respect them. There is different and unique way one can celebrate Diwali. People can visit old age house, or children orphanage and distribute sweets, clothes, food to them. They will also feel good.
8.During festival, we sing Aarti and bhajans. It is very important to have meditation and spiritual connectivity. Listening bhajans and songs help us heal the sufferings.
9.The festival tells us to keep patience. We have to work hard. And we will get success earlier or later, but there will be success.
So, one should keep patience and trust towards God and Himself.
10.Diwali is festival of spreading happiness. One need to make sure they don't pollute Environment by burning crackers.
Diwali, the festival of light
Brings new hope and prosperity,
Like the burning lamp,
Giving lights to other, Bringing an end to negativity
Fighting the darkness,

Where we clean our house,
We do clean negativity and jealously inside us.
Where we burn crackers,
We burn weakness and laziness!
Diwali, brings each one of closer to each other,
With bringing each other closer...
We celebrate Diwali with full enthusiasm!
