Being a woman has never been an easy task even in normal society, let alone rising to fame and having all your actions (both small and big) judged by the whole world. But some notable women did not let the haters and misogyny get in their way of living the life they want and making a difference. Here is one of the many examples of inspirational people who stumped misogyny and her story.

Taylor Swift

“I’m so sick of running as fast as I can, wondering if I’d get there quicker if I was a man,” says Taylor Swift in her song "The Man".

Taylor Swift, a pop phenomenon from Nashville, has always come across as an icon in terms of both music and feminism. She has always been a role model to everyone who aspires to become strong and fearless.

"To say you're not a feminist means that you think men should have more rights and opportunities than women", she says.

She also went through a lot emotionally just to prove that "other women killing it should motivate you, thrill you, challenge you and inspire you".

In one of her interviews, she said, “Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born. So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it’s just basically another word for equality.”

In the mid-2010s, she faced a lot of legal struggles and had lost the rights to 6 of her albums, all because of her manager. But that didn't stop her from rerecording the albums to gain rights to her work, her melodies, and her striving back.

She has always and will always be a global icon who constantly inspires others with her deeds.

"Pushed from the precipice, climbed back up the cliff, long story short I survived" ( lyrics of 'Long Story Short", Taylor Swift)
