Fairy's Chocolate Adventure

1. THE SMELL OF ADVENTURE

It was a beautiful morning when my ferry docked on Enchanted Island. A strong sea breeze and the eager, high-pitched squeak of Whaler Mercury, the island’s mail wizard, greeted me.

“Miss Oceania!” He shouted, stretching a paw around the crowd.

“Wait for me! I am comiiiiiing!”

I waved back. A moment later, he had SCAMPERED through the pack and reached me.

“The Headmistress asked me to pick you up” Whaler Mercury explained, “She’s EXCITED to see you”.

We climbed into Whaler’s VAN, and soon we were speeding towards ENCHANTIA ACADEMY, where I studied as a young FAIRY. Nowadays I return from time to time to teach WATEROLOGY classes to a new crop of students.

As soon as, we got to the academy, I sniffed. The smell of CHOCOLATE was overpowering. “Where is this amazing aroma coming from?” Whaler asked. I smiled, “I think I know! I thanked him for the ride and scurried over to headmistress Wings office.

Before, I could knock, the headmistress FLUNG open the door and threw her hands around me “My dear Oceania” she exclaimed. “Come in. I have a SURPRISE for you!”

Waiting for us on the coffee table were two cups of HOT CHOCOLATE. “I see that the SEASON GIRLS- Bloom, Petals, Leaflet, Sunny & Droplet were the star students of my water ology classes.

“Yes indeed!” she replied. “This chocolate was directly shipped from WINTER FALLS. Have you heard anything about their trip?”

“Yes” I said, booting up my LAPTOP. “The fairies sent me a long email and lots of PHOTOS. Make yourself comfortable because I have a tale to tell you! The STORY begins when Leaflet was feeling hungry one evening…”

2. STUDIES AND SURPRISES

It was a peaceful EVENING at Enchantia academy. Almost all the students had retired to their dorm rooms. Only one room was still filled with LIGHTS, quit chattering was coming from inside.

It was petals and leaflet’s dorm ROOM. The season girls were their going over formulas for their math TEST the next day.

“I’ve got it!” Leaflet cried. “The answer to number five is thirty six point nine!”

Petals LOOKED up from her notebook. “But I’ve got… seven.

“Me too” bloom said.

“So did we “sunny and droplet said.

“OH, CRUSTY CAREBURETERS,” Leaflet sighed. Girls I am stuck. Solving those problems harder than finding an autumn leaf in a tree at spring.

Bloom gave her a pat at head, “don’t lose hope leaflet. “Let’s go over it together.”

Leaflet BEAMED of her “I know just what we need – brain food. Let us try a snack I picked up today’s chocolates.”I wanted to eat them tomorrow after the test, but you know my motto. “Never eat things tomorrow what you can eat today!”

Petals reached a hand into the box. “According to my studies, chocolate improves your concentration.

Sunny bit one in half. “…mmm…. They are whisker licking good! “She said. She glanced at the foil package. “Hey that name …. Leaflet will you pass me that box? Her FRIEND did as she told. “what are you looking for? The ingredients? No worries! They’re very high quality-“. Sunny cut her off with a triumphant SQUEAK.

‘Snowflake Frost winter falls. It must be her!’. “Her, who?” Bloom asked.

“Snowflake is an old school friend of mine.” Sunny replied.

“We are close when I leave in sunny side but we lost touch. She always dreamed of returning to her home town Snowella in winter falls and opening a Chocolate factory! And look Cocoa Loco, the company that makes this delicious chocolates is located in Snowella and its owner is Snowflake Frost. I guess Snowflake made her dream come true.” Petals said.

“Yeah. I wish I could contact her.” SUNNY replied. She went over to laptop and said “Who knows may be I can find her on Magical mimi.” A moment later, she screamed with joy, “Look! There I found her email address.”

“Write to her”, Petals suggested.

“Oh, but it has been so many years now.” Sunny said. “She probably don’t remember me.”

“I bet she does.” Leaf said. ”True friends never forget. Go on and write to her.”

Sunny smiled shyly and said, “May be I will.”

The next morning after the maths test, the fairies met outside the class room and headed back to their dorm room. They didn’t know that a big Surprise was waiting for them. There was an email alert waiting on Sunny’s computer. Sunny jumped with joy and shouted. ”It is from Snowflake. She replied to my mail.”

“So you took our advice and emailed her.” Said Petals.

“Does she remembers you?” Leaf asked.

“Yes! She has written all about what she has been doing all these years and girls, you won’ believe but she has invited all of us to her chocolate factory.”

“Now my dream will finally come true.” Petals jumped with joy.

“What dream are you talking about, petals?” Violet asked.

Petals winked at her friend and said, “My dream of becoming a professional chocolate tester, ofcourse!”

3. THE KING OF CHOCOLATE

A few weeks later, Bloom, Petals, Leaf, Sunny and Droplet were seated on a patio surrounded by Banana trees. Each fairy was sipping tasty cup of hot chocolate. They had decided to accept Snowflake invitation and they had hopped on a flight to Winter Falls just after their exams. Snowflake picked them up from the airport located at Falls, the state’s capital and drove them to the small village where she lives. She and her brother shares a gient wooden cottage surrounded by trees.

The season girls had settled into a small Guest House on the Patio. Snowflake and sunny were remembering their fairy days.

“Do you remember the first day at Kindergarten?” Sunny asked, “You and your family had just moved from Winter Falls and you didn’t know anyone.”

Snowflake smiled, “Yes true. I was more nervous than a hurt wizard in hungry lion’s den. If you had not shown up and taken me by hand, I would have lost.”

Sunny laughed. “You are such a funny fairy at that time and now look at what you have done since then Snowflake! You have made your dream come true!”

“It’s all thanks to my brother Sonfro.” The fairy princess explained. ”He was the first one to believe in the chocolate factory. It was not easy in the beginning, you see! I wanted to build a modern business, but I always wanted to preserve nature and eliminate the use of pesticides on our cocoa beans. For a long time, it looked like we will not be able to complete our dreams as we were facing thousands of problems but with the help of Wizards who work with us, we did it! and now we are nominated for CHOCOLATE CUP AWARD which happens in Winter Falls every year. Many fairies and wizards participate in it.”

The Fairy princess continued, “Our brand new company is known as DARK DOGS MILK BAR.”

“It sounds like a place few days to hang out.” Petals laughed.

“It may sound like that but it is number 1 Chocolate Factory at Winter Falls.” Snowflake told fairies. “When you all are done drinking hot chocolate, let’s meet up at the house gate.”

After meeting at the house gate, Snowflake took them to her Chocolate Factory. At the chocolate factory, they met Sonfro, Snowflake’s brother. He took them to the Cocoa Beans Orchid. The smell and aroma of the chocolate attracts the Season Girls towards it. Snowflake and Sonfro stopped near a tree where cocoa beans were ready. Snowflake told, “This is the cocoa beans from which our chocolate is made. For the Dark Dogs Milk Bar, this is the special ingredient. It gives taste to the chocolate and so we are calling it as KING OF CHOCOLATE.”

After some days, Snowflake woke them up and told that It’s time for them to attend Chocolate Cup award. They all got ready. In the Chocolate Cup award, Snowflake and Sonfro won the BEST CHOCOLATE FACTORY AWARD.

All fairies were proud of Snowflake, as she has put all the efforts in making her dream true.
