Faint Heartbeat

"Sometimes, I don't even feel my heartbeats. They are so faint." She uttered looking into nothingness with a blank face feeling numb. 

He came closer to her ear. His lips were basically touching her ears tenderly. "Let me help you making it beat fast." He whispered as slowly as he could with an icy cold breath giving crazy shudders in her spine. 

She immediately looks into his eyes. Her eyes adorned with nervousness. 

He quickly placed his hand above her heart while she gulped slowly and took a deep breath. 

"Oh, It's already beating very fast." He exclaimed with a mischievous smile. And she was just drowned in the glimmer of his eyes.
