Experiment (Part - 1)

I woke up to see I was surrounded by white walls. To rub my eyes off, I brought my hands but they were handcuffed. 

A little noise came from the outside door and the door opened. I immediately sat upright not knowing about my whereabouts. Three people wearing luxurious suits came inside. They removed my hand cuffs and welcomed me. 

Confused I couldn't place anything. When they asked me to introduce myself I couldn't remember my own name. I started to panic. My body started convulsing when a doctor came and gave me some sort of injection. 

My eyes then started drooping close and I heard the doctor saying that the medicine had affected me in a bad way. 

Not knowing what was going on I let my eyes to be completely closed. 

Sweating I woke up but this time on a bed. A nurse was beside me. She offered me some food and asked me to freshen up. 

Still in a daze I got ready. After eating a knock was there on the door. 

I saw one of the person from yesterday standing there. He offered me a smile which I didn't return. He said I know you have a lot of questions but don't worry you are fine with us. No one will harm you. 

Questions were wildly running in my head. Harm... Fine... What's going on? Who is going to harm you? Why can't I remember anything? I said everything in one go. 

He calmly listened and said all my questions will be soon answered. He led me to a house. The house was amazingly beautiful and had a homey feeling about it. 

He said that this will be my new home. I didn't know what to do. I didn't even have my memory so I decided to stay in the house. 

Days pass by I started to feel comfortable in this new life. All my needs were fulfilled. 

But I always had a feeling of being watched. There were times when I sleep and sleep for 2-3 days straight. I started to notice weird things happening to my body. There would be rashes, unknown bruises, needle marks and what not. 

I started to feel weak and more and more empty. Life was becoming a mess. 

Thinking all of this I slept. I don't know when I woke up but I saw myself surrounded with chemicals and numerous machines. 

I stood from my bed and started exploring everything. I found a door and what I saw was horrifying. There were animals everywhere but something was very wrong . They were all acting weirdly. The room was looking like a laboratory. I heard some whispers and hide behind a shelf. 

I saw one of the person from the first day and the doctor entered. 

"Did she wake up. " The person said. 

"No.not yet. The medicines are not working in the right way. If this continues she maybe die. We have to limit all this. If the news will be out that such things are happening here we won't be able to get out. " Doctor said. 

I knew somehow they were talking about me. I heard him speaking again. 

"You know doctor how important this project is. Our dreams will come true if this achieves success. Wealth will be raining upon us. She will be my best ever experiment and my key to opening every impossibility. "

I clasped my hand on my mouth to stop myself from screaming. Tears started to roll down my cheeks. 

I was just an experiment. 

They had taken my life away from me. I couldn't even remember my origin. 

I cried and cried.
