Earth In 2040

The year is 2040!! A little girl named Lisa is playing in her grandpa's room. She is running here and there and messing up all the things in the room. Suddenly her eyes get stuck in something and she cries "grandpa.... quickly come here." Her grandpa comes running to her totally surprised. He follows the direction of her eyes and sees that it is a photo − A photo which is never seen by his granddaughter. It was a photo of a blue coloured 'Plastic Bag' neatly labeled as ' GO GREEN, DON'T LAMINATE THE EARTH'.

Grandpa then slowly starts explaining her about how people 20 years before now used 'Plastic'. The environment got very badly affected. It was seriously affecting human health too. It was spoiling our oceans, rivers, lakes, and ground water. It was a threaten to wildlife. It was poisoning our food chain and also entering our blood and tissues causing cancer. He also explains how slowly and gradually all the people of the world took serious and effective measures to eradicate plastic from this world. But it was not a easy task because it took only a minute to make plastic but years to break it.

Today, we can really say that we are proud of the people who lived at that time and who gave so much effort to save our planet 'Earth'. It is only because of them that, children like Lisa is living and breathing so freely on this earth.
