Indian Railways transports 23 billion people and 3 million tons of goods every day. It is equal to transport the entire population of Australia daily. Indian Railways has more than 8000 stations. Long ago, first train of Indian Railways ran between Bori Bunder which is now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai (CSMT) and Thane. the year was 1853. the train was loaded with 800 passengers. the train was pulled by three locomotives, Sahib, Sindh, and Sultan. And now Indian Railways has fourth-largest network of tracks in the world, which is about 67,000 km. It is the largest network of track in Asia. Indian Railways also has five major luxury trains.


One day, one boy named Sandeep was going to travel in a train with his parents. He has traveled many times by train because he and his family preferred train because it is cheaper than any other transport and also comfortable. But Sandeep was going to travel in Chair Car for the first time. He was very excited to see how Chair Car looks. It was AC Chair Car.


Sandeep and his family packed their luggage and went to the station. They were going to travel in newly launched train, 'Vande Bharat Express' running between New Delhi and Varanasi. They reached the station on time and after waiting five-ten minutes, the announcement was done and the train arrived. They boarded the train. Sandeep was very excited to see what a chair car was! The train in which they were going to travel is an engine-less train, i.e. no engine was needed. the train would run at a maximum speed of 200 kmph but due to security reasons and poor quality of tracks, the trains speed is limited to 130 kmph.


They kept their bags and sat comfortably on their seats. They were traveling in AC Executive Class so it was more comfortable. The seat can rotate 360∘ After two or three coaches there was a pantograph connected to the overhead wires. This makes the train engine less. No sooner the train left the station New Delhi, everyone was given a bottle of water 'Rail neer'. After sometime within two - three minutes, the train was running with its top speed, i.e. 130 kmph. It was one of the fastest trains of Indian Railways. The train can accelerate to its maximum speed speed, i.e. 130 kmph, very fast because there are panto graphs connected to the overhead wires after two or three coaches.


Sandeep and his family was very happy seeing this train. After sometime breakfast was served. They ate their breakfast. At first, when the train was newly launched, the breakfast served was of Western Countries. But now they served Indian Breakfast.


After sometime the train reached Kanpur. Sandeep and his family were enjoying very much. After the train left the station Kanpur, everyone was served lunch. Lunch was very tasty. Sandeep and his family had their reservation up to Varanasi.


Before launching of this new train, the fastest train in New Delhi Varanasi route took 12 hours to reach. But after launching of Vande Bharat Express, it has come down to eight hours. The windows was very big, and they could see every scenery. This train also has CCTV camera installed and smoke detectors in washroom. This train also has Bio - Vacuum toilets, Automatic (with sensor) taps to wash hands. This train also provides free wi-fi which we connect and enjoy entertainment.


Soon, eight hours passed, enjoying in the train. Soon the train arrived at Varanasi Station and the door opened. The train reached Varanasi Station on time. Everybody got off the train. The enjoyment was over for some people who got off the train. The enjoyment was going to start for the passengers who had their reservation up to New Delhi from Varanasi
