It is a comman proverb 'If a bad time comes then good time also comes'. Covid-19 era has been a bad time. The time that taught humans great lessons. The good thing during that period is only that we learnt how to give values to our own ones.

As soon as the government declared the seiver consequences of the covid-19 infection and declared the lockdown all over the country in steps, we started to feel that the virus was about to knock our door. Being a government school teacher I have departmental responsibilities too. My better half Meenakshi understands all these but at that time she couldn't help stopping me to go outside the home for any reason. She used to follow some local news channels on facebook. They created too much panic at that time. Each increase in infection was a breaking news for them and after very frightening explanation they used announce blundarly 'There is no need to take panic.'

But Mrs. Meenakshi had taken all there words seriously excepting the last sentence.

She couldn't help in stopping to watch the news and then creating a horrible environment in the house. I first time came to know that vegetables and fruits could be washed in a high dilute solution of liquid detergent that was used for cleaning utensils. Even after that they were washed in plane water and after that they had to rest for hours to become food for someone.

This thing looks much funny now but the worse is all behind these curtains.

My then two year old daughter Dhvani called the neibougheror over the railing of the roof or behind the door in our lap. If any nebougheror called her to come out she used to say ''Co'ona hai''

Whenever I had to go out Dhvani used to hold my hand before leaving and to indacte towards the masks by saying,"Papa Maas peno."

All the things said above might be coommon in maximum numbers of families. In the first wave we lost some knowns they were not very closed to us.

The worded thing what happened to us is the uncertain behaviour of Meenakshi. Although we used to watch serials Ramayana and Mahabharat and play a lot of ludo, chess practice Yoga and Exercise but she started feeling uncomfortable. She had a unknown fear in her mind all the time ' if someone from us or our knowns get infected?' This kind of question marks have no answers but the suspensions behind them becomes horrible.

I emphasized her not to follow the news about Covid-19. She pretended to do so also but I couldn't get when she used to watch them and again started talking about them.

Her health conditions went worse. She was facing pains in stomach. She started weeping while talking normally. She used to go to toilet rapidly in the day and night also. I said to go to the doctor for treatment. She refused completely arguing that we might be in exposure to Covid. I managed to consult one of my known surgeon Dr Deevakar Dutt' He advised some medicines but the course of those medicine was not too helpful. After a week he advised for an endoscopy test. Problem was the same again. She was not reasy to go out at any cost. But her condition was annoying me and our children a lot. Our family members, my coligue females too talked to her but all I tried was in vain. At last I called one my close known in Kalpna chawla Medical College Karnal to advise me the best Gastrolgist in Karnal. He knew my situation well. He consulted some senior physician and advised me to consult a psychiatrist first. He also advised the name of the same too. I managed to convince my wife to visit that psychiatrist. Who provided some counseling to us, also had taken some tests of her and then prescribed some medicine too by claming that she would feel better even after the first dose of the pills prescribed. The medicine resulted the same.

She had been a patient of dipression at that time. Whose cause was non other than the panic created by the social media news.

When the second wave started I took her mobile and locked all the social media apps. During that our close relatives got infected. The struggled to win over COVID but she didn't faced the earlier situation again. She thanked me for the support and for locking the social media apps of her mobile for that critical spam of time.
