My name is Devishi Mathur. I was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India; on 18th September 2006. At present, I am 15 years old. Being a student, I have enormous potential, as said by my parents and teachers, and I absolutely love to take part in co-curricular activities. But, forget the present. How did I reach here? Well, starting off, I lived in quite a few places over the span of 15 years of my life. At first, I moved to Guwahati, Assam with my parents and then Lucknow, U.P. Later in 2008, our family of three at the time, migrated to Sharjah, UAE. When I was 5, in 2011, my younger brother was about to be welcomed into this world, hence, we moved back to Jaipur for some time and lived there for 2 years. I completed my kindergarten in Jaipur, from Shemrock Pink. At the end of 2011, in about the month of November, our family of four moved to Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

There, we lived for 2.5 years. In April 2014, my father's job got transferred to Dubai, UAE, and we have been living there ever since. Talking about my family, my father has done a variety of jobs, which we do not even know of. He has reached where he is today, an engineering draughts-person, after facing loads of hurdles. My mother, is probably the most talented MasterChef to me. She can cook any and every dish from a variety of cuisines. I am glad to have her beside us. My little brother, who is 5 years younger than me, is annoying, like most siblings, but is dear too. Talking about my childhood, I have spent it in a various amount of places, hence I do not remember much about myself before I was 8. In April 2014, I joined the school I currently am in. These past 8 years have been the best, of my life. 2014, overall, was the best year for me.

For coming to this school, where my life did change, I thank fate. Looking back, I don't even know how fast those years passed by, and that in less than two years, I'll be finishing school. I made and lost a lot of friends. I kind of had this routine ever year, that for some unfortunate reason, I ended up losing some friends every single year. I was extremely sad about the fact, and it is still happening. Other than my academic school life, which, thanks to my impeccable intelligence, has been superb, so far, I have achieved some major awards so far. I would say that I am talented in some fields. Some major achievements that I have to my name are:

> Winner - Handwriting Competition for the whole grade, Winner - Creative Writing competitions

> 1st Runner Up - Millennium Melodies - inter school choir competition; Lead singer in many singing competitions

> People's Choice Winner - Global Innovation Challenge, 3rd Winner - Innovation Awards & many more.

> Winner - Hindi competitions such as speaking, writing and reading, on a national level

If I write honestly, I did have a lot of turning points in my life. That would much too long of a story to be told, but certain things that happened to me, did make me believe, at least a bit, in destiny/fate. A lot of people close to me, became unexpectedly associated with the most special person in my life. If I ever start talking about those events, it would be a long and complex story, but sad at the same time. I have been instilled with some great values and qualities as a person and a friends, or so I have been told till now. I am trustworthy and confident, bold and cute. I give great advice, as I have been told by my peers. I look forward to knowing what turns my life may make in the future, that is far, far ahead of me, for now. As of today, I enjoy my life as a senior in school :)
