Destined

Mine was an out and out arranged marriage. It was my first night and I am weighing more because of extra added shyness in thoughts. I never got an opportunity to talk with her before engagement as both of our families arranged a bit fast.

 If I am a writer, I should have written thousands of poems about her beauty.

 I closed the windows of the room so moon can’t get jealous of our romance.

In the joy, she said she knows me before our parents got involved in this wedding.

Do you see those prime time serials? I smiled with sarcasm. She pulled my soul patch a bit. I am confident because we both are from different cities and there is not even a single chance for her to know me before. She said she has seen me last year at a temple and we both have a mutual friend.

Through her WhatsApp, she chatted with me about marriage, love, and life. She loved my thoughts and said yes to marriage. Not by the presentation of my properties and salary.

I was thrilled and thanked Mahadev. I kissed on her lips and said my love story is just started.
