"Hey, Jas you used to be a nice and hard-working guy, why this vault heist thing?" -asked Deep.

"Deep, did you ever sleep empty stomach for being thrown out of your job for a recession?" asked Jaspreet instead of answering Deep's question.

"Never, I never dreamt big, I'm happy with my meager income......" -said Deep.

"Deep buddy agreed but this time I want you to help me pull this single job and live peacefully all the life." -said Jaspreet.

"Never, you want me to jump in this blind well.... why all this Jas?" -asked Deep.

"Deep I want to use your lock decoding expertise to pull this single job. But I have an alternate man who'll replace you. I don't want to involve Billy in all this but she is good in opening in any lock of this world." -said Jaspreet indicating towards a beautiful girl who was also with them in that room.

"Then good luck......" -said Deep and got up to leave the deserted building which Jaspreet and his men were using as a hiding place.

"Not so easy buddy, you know quite a lot about my heist plan so I cannot let you go right now." -said Jaspreet.

"So, I'm a prisoner here now?" -asked Deep.

"Not exactly but you'll have to stay here until I come back after pulling this job." -replied Jaspreet.

"Jas, the security out there is very tight, the guards shoot at the sight...." -said Deep.

"I'm not a kid, I know all......now I'm leaving. You'll be locked in this room and as soon as I come back, you'll be free to go wherever you want to go." -said Jaspreet getting up.

Deep was locked, it was almost midnight but there was no sleep in his eyes. He was worried about his childhood friend Jas. They went to school together, did their engineering in mechanical together. Both of them started working in different firms, started earning. They were about to start their own firm to work together but the ongoing recession broke their dreams. Soon Jas was unemployed due to cost-cutting in his firm.

It was almost after one year when Jas called him up and asked him to help him to open the safe of city’s most secured vault; Dawn Vault. The vault was called the death trap, almost every big criminal tried to loot this vault but none succeed, instead, the security of the vault injured them badly during their loot attempt. Deep was worried about Jas and pondering on the situations which forced him to travel this travel the road which had never been traveled by any intellectual.

He was also wondering about that girl Billy who was with Jas, what was their relationship?

He couldn't sleep all night and be worried about Jas, who had not returned yet. As time was passing, he was getting more and more restless. There was no way to go out of that room, he had no tool to break the hardwood door of the room. It was almost noon when he heard someone hitting the door with a hammer or anything heavy.

After fifteen minutes the door was forced opened and four uniformed policemen entered the room.

"Your name is Deep." -asked one of the policemen.

"Yes." -said Deep.

The policemen forced him in a patrol car and headed towards the main road.

"What is it all about, where are you taking me?" -asked Deep.

"Keep quiet, otherwise there will be trouble." -said one the tough-looking cop.

He was taken to City Hospital's morgue; a tough-looking cop was waiting for him out there.

"Mr. Deep, recognize this man?" -said the cop uncovering a dead body.

There was the badly mutilated body of Jaspreet.

"Your friend Jaspreet? He made a successful heist in the Dawn Vault, he looted jewels worth rupees 1000 crore, but his ally Billy stabbed him badly and left him for dead. When he was found he was breathing last and he told about the heist and you. And requested me to free you and keep you out of this trouble." -said the cop and covered Jaspreet's body again.

"What about Billy?" -asked Deep.

"We'll nail her soon, but you'll have to spend some time with me to recognize other members of this loot gang." -said the cop.

"Sure sir." -said Deep and followed the cop.
