Dacoits in a Village

In those days dacoits happened to be usual. A house with one room one balcony and one campus right beneath the sky. Some dacoits entered the campus in the middle of dark night. One of them aroused the old lady sleeping on a charpoy in the campus. He asked her to open the room silently otherwise she would call threat to herself and her son and daughter in law.

She walked up slowly to the room's gate and came back to them. Perhaps her son had already woken up and conveyed to her the required tips in whisper. She told the dacoits that her son and in law have got sleep like a log. She said," you kindly take this axe and break the door." One fool took the axe and hit the door. A flake of wood just came off. A bullet welcomed him from the room. Actually her son was prepared with his gun to fire. Bullet had hit an arm of one dacoit. All ran away for life. This was a story of valour and flair.
