Christmas Adventure

I woke up. It was one day before Christmas. My whole family was going on a trip to France. Except me obviously, because I'm a person who hated traveling and adventure. I just wanted to stay in one place my whole life. As I was alone at home, my friends had planned to stay with me until my parents came.

Tyler, my cat hissed at Silver, who was my brother's dog. The dog was always a barrier in my life. It was around 10pm when my parents and my brother left home. Wait..... I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Tracey Igor and I am a writer. I live all alone in the US in a peaceful village close to the sea. 

The two friends who agreed to stay with me were Kyle and Delency. I stood waiting for my friends to arrive home. In the meantime I gave my Tyler and Silver their Christmas treats. It was around 11pm when my friends arrived home. "what took you'll so long?" I asked them.

"The was a traffic. Sorry dude to keep you waiting" Kyle responded.

We went upstairs to watch a movie in the meantime. After around thirty minutes, we were hungry so we decided to order some food. It took so long for the food to arrive. When at last the doorbell rang,

We ran downstairs and opened the door. There was no one. We checked the whole neighborhood. There was still no one. Confused, we went into the house. What we saw next left us horrified. There was the food we ordered on the table. We ran upstairs and around the house to see if anyone was inside. But there was no one. Suddenly Silver started staring at the stairs and barking. "I think he wants us to check upstairs again" I told them.

When we went upstairs Silver ran to my room and started barking at the closet. I swung open the door. There was no one. When we decided to stay upstairs I noticed the closet door slightly opening I locked my room door and came to the hall. All of a sudden Silver ran to the carpet and started barking at it. "uhh Silver we cannot remove the carpet it's too heavy" I said. But Silver didn't stop barking so we had to remove the carpet from the floor. When we got together and removed it we found a small door leading to an underground passage. We looked at each other. We were too stunned to speak. 

We opened the door and went inside. Before I could turn back the door closed and we were inside a dark passage. Before we could switch our torchlights on Delency fell down the stair and we all fell down with her. After around couple of minutes, I woke up. We had landed at last to the end of the stairs. We were injured. So we took our time to be ourselves.

We went into the passage and found a small well lit room. "Who the hell has been living under my house " I exclaimed. We went into the room and found that the only furniture there was a table and a bed. As we were about to look for anything else, the door opened and we could hear loud footsteps approaching us. I hid under the table while my friends hid below the bed. A tall man about 6ft came upto the bed and sat on it. As he turned the opposite way from us I signaled my friends to run away.

As we crept towards the staircase I heard a loud gunshot. When I looked back Delency dropped dead on the floor. "two more to go " I heard him laughing. I ran for my life. As I was climbing the stair and was almost at the beginning of the staircase I heard another gunshot and I saw Kyle falling down. I banged on the door. It was locked "somebody help!" I screamed.

12:00am 2022 January 

"Happy new year " was the last thing I heard with the sound of the firecrackers outside.

December 31st 2021

I woke up. It was one day before Christmas. My whole family was going on a trip to France 

I badly didn't want to go as I hated traveling. My two friends Kyle and Delency were there to accompany Me at home. It was around 10pm and my friends were supposed to be home anytime soon. I waited for them. And then at last they arrived. It was 11pm. Since it was New year tomorrow , we decided to go to the balcony to watch the colourful fireworks. We took Silver, my brother's dog and Tyler, my cat with us. 

When we went upstairs we were hungry so we decided to order some food. After aroung 30 minutes the food arrived. We ran downstairs and I opened the door. There was no one. We checked the entrance but there was no one. When we went into the house, we saw our order on the table waiting for us. We were horrified. That was when Silver ran upstairs to the carpet and started barking at it. It took a while to get the carpet from the floor. When we took it out, we were surprised to see a small door leading to an underground passage. When we went Inside, that was when I remembered what had happened. "uhh guys I had the same dream." I told them the whole thing which was about to happen and sure enough as I finished telling them we heard the door opening. "oh no we are done " I whispered. We ran down and hid under the table. "I know someone is here. I saw the carpet. It was moved. " I heard a loud voice shouting. When the man came downstairs, we crept our way to the stairs and stood behind the stairs as their was a small room for 3 to 4 people. We hid their. When the man passed us we ran upstairs. Seeing us running, the man took out his gun and shot at Kyle. "not again" I thought. Then Delency fell down and then I fell down sharp 12:00am January 2022.with the sound of firecrackers.

December 31st 2021

I woke up. "not again" I thought. This time I decided to plan something to end this. When my friends came home I told them everything. At first they didn't believe me. Obviously, who would ever believe me if I say them that I woke up having the same dream again and again. But they believed me when the food we ordered had no person to deliver. Silver started barking again and I took the house keys with me as I knew that the key to the door was in it. We took the mat out and sure enough their was the door. We went downstairs with a stick. We went down and stood behind the small space. When it was around 11:45, the door opened and the man came in. We knew that he knew someone was down so we were cautious. When he reached to the end of the stairs Kyle raised the stick and was about to hit the man when the man held it and said "I saw that coming." I saw him reaching his gun so I took the gun out of his pocket and told him " I saw that coming too". He was furious,when he saw that we were three and he was just one. Kyle hit him on the head and we ran up to the entrance. But I wasn't sure if it was enough to just make him unconscious for a while so I pointed the gun at him and shot it twice and I unlocked the door and went out. Then it became all white

2021 January 1st

I woke up. This time I was satisfied with what I did. I decided that it was best for me to go with my family. And we had a wonderful Christmas in France. 

2022 January 5th

I spent a great time in France with my family although we had to travel a lot. When I came home,i directly went upstairs and checked if the door was still there. The door wasn't there but the carpet had been removed from the ground. When I went into my room there was the food we had ordered, waiting to be opened by someone....
