The bravery of a child
The bravery of a child
Makkah was a peaceful country at those times and at the present day. There once was a great caliph in Makkah who was having a morning stroll one day. As he was walking in the city he saw many children playing in a lane. As he went near them they all ran away in fear except for one child. The caliph asked him why he didn't run away with his friends. To this, the child bravely replied "oh Ameerul Mu'mineen I didn't do anything wrong for me to run away seeing you, nor is the lane narrow for me to run away. That's why I didn't run away". Hearing this, the caliph was very happy and went away appreciating the child.
This was none other than Zaid (rali) a brave soldier who fought in most of the battles
