Chasing Nightmare

Once upon a day, Renuka an IT employee went burial ground with a bouquet of flowers to mourn for her dad's death. She puts the bouquet of flower in her father's tomb and become silent to mourn for his death.

When she moved from there she found something shiny near someone's tomb. She went there and found a chain containing a single Sapphire. She decided to take and sell. She took that chain and wore that on her neck. When she started to move she heard someone laughing loudly and she turned. She saw that a man was laughing. She didn't consider why he was laughing and went home.

At 9:30 p.m., while she watching TV in the hall she suddenly feels something stubborn, stressed, and negative. And she heard someone whispering in her ear. She stands up and looks around. She doesn't feel that she is alone in her home. She stands up and looks around. Her heart increases, starts sweating. Suddenly, she heard someone exhale deeply in her ear. She closes her and screams loudly in fear.

She opens it and looks around. She off the lights and went to sleep. She opened her eyes and saw that she was in the middle of the four-way road. She turned around there was no vehicle running and there was no human movement. She hears someone crying. She suddenly turned, and she saw a young man turn a side stand in the road, and cry by closing his face with his hands.

She went near and asked him "Why are you crying?". He opened his face wiped his eyes and said "Give me that". She ask him in confused mind "That means what ?". He opened his eyes widely smiled like Psycho and said "That means THAT". He slowly comes close to her. Her heartbeat and fear increase as he comes close to her. She saw a hammer near her leg, and she took and hit on his face. But he didn't fall down He turned and saw her. And he smiled with a face and mouth full of blood that gave her extreme fear.

When she again swiped the hammer he caught that and kicked and threw it away. She falls and rolls down. She stood and looked around she was in extreme shock because there were many one who looked like him looking at her. She looked around and she saw a car and she ran faster and got inside and locked it. They get around the car shake the car break the mirror and scream like mad. One of them grabbed that Sapphire chain and everyone said similarly "That means this". 

Suddenly, they stop shaking the car. One of them opened the petrol tank and put the burning match stick. Renuka cries and burns inside the car.

She woke up and found its nightmare. But it did not feel to her just a nightmare. So, she removed that chain got ready, and ran faster to the burial ground. She found the place where she took that and put that chain there. She suddenly found that there was a tomb that contained a young man photo who she saw in her nightmare titled "Mahadevan". She calmed herself and moved. Suddenly, she heard someone clapping hands. She turned and saw that man who was laughing that day. He calls her to come. She went to him. He said to Renuka "Do you learned your lesson? Don't worry. Now onwards he will never disturb you. He is Mahadevan. He killed his father when he was a kid because of his father's greed for money and neglect. He was in jail and that gave him loneliness. After many years He got love from Parvati. Unfortunately, both died in a car accident. That was Parvati's chain which was presented by Mahadevan. He punishes you for your greed only. That chain is a symbol of love between them". She asked him "Who are you?". Someone turned her back, was an undertaker asked her "To whom you are talking now?" She shocked her turned back there was no one behind her. She replied nothing and moved. 

Again, She saw that dropped chain in greed. But suddenly a rotten hand from the tomb took the chain inside. She screams. She opened her eyes, she was in her bedroom and she said that it was the same date when she took that chain home. It gives a relief that it's a nightmare. Suddenly she heard "It's not a nightmare". She turned right and saw that Parvati and Mahadevan holding burning matchsticks in their hand and sitting together in a chair. Renuka's body is totally frozen by fear.

Greed is a great loss.
