Challenge?

"But we don't know how to play table tennis? Come on! we have an inter-school match on Monday and today is Friday!!". I literally panicked.

"We will be out of the tournament on the very first day", said my best friend Sneha.

Nevertheless, we continued our practice along with our junior schoolmates.

Then came the great stereotypical and evil boys of our class.

"Hey, Sneha and Shreshtha, we cannot believe this that you both are playing for the school team."

We both looked at each other. We could not give them a strong reply because it was indeed true that we were not good TT players. Thus, we did not reply.

And then our juniors gave an epic response.

"Bhaiya, at least they are selected for the team. You all have not been even selected, so you should better not comment on their selection."

I AND SNEHA AGAIN EXCHANGED LOOKS. WE BOTH WISHED THAT HOW LUCKY WE HAD BEEN IF WE HAD CLASSMATES LIKE THEM...BUT ALAS IT COULD NOT BE TRUE.

ON THE AWARD CEREMONY OUR TEAM HAD WON THE SILVER MEDAL IN THE TEAM MATCH. AND GUESS WHAT!

SNEHA HAD GOT THE BRONZE MEDAL IN THE SINGLES EVENT AND I GOT THE FOURTH POSITION IN THE SAME EVENT.

We don't know how this happened. Did we really win the medal for our school or did we win it to prove ourselves that"HUM KISI SE KAM NAHI!"

To be very honest this did not happen due to our own motivation and hard work. This definitely was a miracle created because of the RESPECT AND THE TRUST we both received from our fellow teammates. Though our teammates were younger than us and our cheeky classmates, they proved that they had HEARTS MADE OF GOLD!

RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER DOES TURN A MERE STONE TO GOLD!

AND NOT ONLY THAT OUR SCHOOL TEAM WAS DECLARED AS THE BEST TEAM!

THE NEXT DAY In the Games period, we once again met those rude guys. We both decided to defeat each one of them in a friendly game.

YAY! WE BOTH DEFEATED ALL OF THEM IN A 'FRIENDLY GAME'.

THESE BOYS FINALLY APOLOGISED.
