CAGED BIRD
CAGED BIRD
Rohan, aged 4 living his life happily, going to pre school, coming home, playing with his sister, playing with his toy truck, going out with his father during weekend for zoo or park, watching his favourite ben10 cartoon on tv, loved by his family and relatives. He is a hyper active kid. When he reached his 5th birthday he celebrated very well with his friends, neighbours and relatives, his parents decided to join him to a well reputed school in the city. He hesitate initially to go to school as he need to spend 7 hours in the school and he is strongly missing his parents. He felt sad, alone in school. His teachers are not that friendly as the school is more focused on marks and proper grades, or else they felt that their reputation will be hampered. Even though he is hyper active, he is so sensitive. He is not able to focus on studies completely and his grades are getting low. Because of this his teachers and parents started to push him to study more.
He even got sick for 10 days. His parents stopped taking him to zoo, park or buying him any toys because he is not scoring good grades. Even in Parents teacher meeting, teachers were blaming Rohan as he is not clever and he is not studying properly and also not attentive in the class. His parents, being educated, thought their son is so dumb and need more study hours. They even sent him to tuition after school, so he is studying 10 hours a day now. His parents were not as friendly and talkative as before, and he is missing them badly. Which he can't express, as they are more focused on his grades. One day while walking to the home, near by a tree he saw a parrot which is wounded and can't fly. He took the parrot in his hands and brought it to home. His parents did the first aid and brought a cage and kept the parrot in it. He finally found a friend. Before and After the school, he is playing with his parrot and fed it with proper food. He felt happy while spending time with the parrot which is in the cage. He is taking proper care of it by feeding good food and even taking parrot to the park on Sunday.
After some days, his sister mistakenly opened the cage and the parrot flew away. He saw it and immediately ran after it. But unable to catch its speed he felt tired and also lost his way to home. He felt very sad because, he don't understand why the parrot flew away, when he is taking proper care of it. He cried for the first time thinking that, he has no friends, even he is trying to be their good friend. Sitting in the bench and thinking about the parrot, with tiredness in his eyes, he fell asleep. His parents return home and found out that his son is missing. His Sister didn't tell what happened as she was scared that her parents will hit her. They searched in their surroundings, talked to everyone in the flat and made a lot of calls and finally found him in the footpath sleeping. His mother ran towards him crying and brought him to home. When he woke up, he was hearing quarrel between his parents, and also seeing his relatives, neighbours and a lot of people from his flat gathered in his home.
His parents hugged him and cried a lot initially. But when his parents heard rumours from the neighbours and relatives saying that, "Rohan always play, won't concentrate on studies, and he thought to ran from home so that he can skip school and enjoy all the time", hearing the blame his parents felt bad and don't understand why his son thought to run away. When Rohan trying to explain what happened, they not at all listening. His parents decided to house arrest him and to home school him going forward. Luckily his closest uncle and grand parents interfered and argued with his parents, and decided that they will take Rohan with them to their Village, where he will study there. His parents hesitantly agreed to this. The next day morning Rohan left with his grand parents along with his dearest uncle to their Village. Where Rohan joined a friendly private school. The duration of the school is 5 hours and which includes fun activities too. Slowly Rohan felt very happy and started making a lot of friends. After school at the evening, he even went to his grand parents farm, playing with cattle, ducks, hen. He felt very relaxed and really felt that he is having a fresh breath after a long time. His grand parents and his uncle were so friendly and they play with him a lot. They even care for him and never scolded him when his grades were down. His teachers and parents were shocked to see that his grades were improving a lot. He became the most loved kid in the village 😊.
