Cafe Samovar

It was a private note of exchange between them, amidst the noise of celebrations. Just 7 words were scribbled on a paper towel.

“See me tomorrow at noon. Samovar Café”.

The glance accompanying the note was evocative, and she almost knew what it was about. Hadn’t she waited for his confession?
