Birla Vidya Mandir Nainital 13

I am writing this about the House Matron of Brenton Hall Munna Didi. 

Munna Didi joined our school in 1947. She had been very hard working, devoted and pious lady. She was educated at Shanti Niketan founded by Ravindra Nath Tagore.

Her dedication to her work as Matron was matchless. She was a wonderful person with lot of affection and good feelings for everyone. I have seen that on every Sunday she used to do massages with oil on the heads of students in the House like their mother. I have always found her on duty. She never took any leave. She was very clear hearted person. Money was immaterial for her as she did not have her own family. She was like a saint. 

After her retirement from the school, she used to live in the town below. Later on she developed some serious medical problem and was admitted to Bhowali sanatorium for treatment. 

She is now no more but She is remembered fondly by everyone in Birla vidya mandir. She was like our mother. Such persons are rare with qualities of head and heart.
