Attention!! Isn't this word amazing? Nevertheless, I feel so. Attention is one of those words which cannot be uniquely determined as positive or negative because we never know what it impacts on others. We haven't even realized how much this word revolves around us. From the beginning of our lives to the end of it, we seek attention.

When as a kid, we cry a lot for the things we want. As we grow up, We make friends when we grab their attention towards us. We make our teachers know us either by being too silent or too naughty or being smart and intelligent or any other attribute of ours. There's also a point in our life when we start feeling inferior. Not only this, people even fight for attention. Ever noticed old age ones? How much they crave attention. They want to be taken care of. Isn't it also attention? Is it bad? No, it is not. It is just their way to let it out and gain attention. Attention always has to be two ways. It can't be only you who want it, it's also the one giving you wants it too. According to me, it is a quality of a person who is in layman's language known as 'Crowd Puller' (doesn't mean there aren't other types of attention seeker). The one who can easily impress anybody with his humor or by some activity. Attention is nothing else but just engaging them with you. Isn't it weird how we blame others for being such an attention seeker turns out we are too? Everybody wants attention. Everybody wants to be recognized in various ways. But Why do we want that? Is it necessary to live a life running around for attention? Is it satisfactory? Does it match your expectations? Is it worthy? The times you spend seeking someone else attention towards you, is it long-lasting? Or does it help with your life? Let us all think about it and set our priorities accordingly.
