ATrip to Kolkata

We, the three families had decided to make a trip to kolkata in the Dusshera puja vacation.likewise we have to wait for that moment.Three families mean,I, my spouse and my niece,my son's and my daughter's.Among them three grandsons are included.one daughter of my brother - in- law was also accompanied with us in this journey.Accordingly tickets were cofirmed in the specific aircondioned boggy and reserved compartments in the Puri Howrah super fast express.so we left Ranpur at 6.51pm and arrived at Jatani raiway station at 9.25 pm.we caught the reserved boggy puri Howrah super fast express at 9.50 st the night on dated 23.10.2026. The said train ran onwards on the rail track throughout the night.The outside scene was not visible due to night's darkness.when it strikes 5 AM early in the morning on day, 24th october,2026,the train stopped at Howrah junction and we moved to the booked hotel by the help of a hired vehicle and safely reached at the hotel named Orion Sapphire,12kms far from the Howrah station. We visited the Science city.It is a beautiful and wonderful place for exploration of science and new techniques.This city has already served 46 years of services and has given a lot of revenue to Government of west Bengal.It has occupied about 50 or more acres of land.The growth of Dinosaur human evolution,early civilisation,herbal Life,etc have been given the real life and celebrated the march of humanity on the world.The space structure has also been portrayed so cunningly,the rearchers get the opportunity to find out the space curiousty so far.This science city is no doubt an extraordinary science city all over India.we returned the hotel premises at 7.15 PM at night and rested. On 25.10.26 we went to Victoria Memorial HALL and spent more than two hours in its corridor.This is a nice collecting hall of the past,for example,the war technique of Siraj udaula,the nawab of Bengle vs lord clive in the battle of pallesy,queen Victoria,jorge v,and other's portraits,the collection of then guns,canons,arm and the used war equipment s have been well decorated there for visitor's catering of attraction. Really it.is hub centre of Indian heritage and culture.It is pertinent to say that The East India company was set up here at the river bank Hugooly by the Britishers.Ihave to pause at two remarkable collected items,such as,the Konarak wheel and Jagannath Parivar on chariot.I have been deeply impressed by the the wrings as follows: Magnificent rath chariot carrying the sacred trio,lord jagannath Goddess Subhadra and lord Balbhadra an extraordinary depiction of divine journey and spiritual grandeur .The trio is seated gracefully in regal posture upon a beautifully detailed chariot drawn by four sculpted horses Every element from the ornate canopy to the wheels reins and embellishments has been meticulously designed highlighting the unmatched skill of Indian artisans.The rath yatra is one of the most celebrated tradition in Indian spriruality symbolising unity devotion and the eternal bond between the deities and their devotees.This memento captures the same sanctity artistry and culture reverence making it not only collectible but that a profound spritual artifact. On this very day we went to NICCO park,a very beautiful park for children and the people of different age group may enjoy a lot in this park.specifically this is meant for children.It stands within 37 acres of land.There is the boating facility in the artifial lake ,swings, children's train,nice gardens, sky up swings,horse sitting movement and many a good playful items for children.Every day many visitors come and enter the park with their kids for enjoyment.This park also earns a very good revenue for the Government of west Bengal. We left the park at 7 PM and proceeded to visit the light decoration of Howrah Bridge but failed the boat journey in the river Hoogooly.Then returned to the hotel for rest. On 26.10.26,we proceeded to Belur math and it was about 11.45am.Belur math is the Head Qwarter of Ramkrushan Mission and Math of the world.This math was founded by Swami Vivekananda,the disciple of Ramkrushan Paramhansa,and the spritual master.by the grace of the master Thakur Ramkrushan Paramhansa,Vivekananda became a great figure of spiritual line and after his death the swamiji went to abroad,United States of America to spread and highlight the Hindu religion or Sanatan Dharma of our country India.For the first time Swami Vivekananda attended to a religious cofernces held on 11th September 2893 at Chicago of the USA.He had to face many obstacles inclusive financial hazards.He always thought of MAA Kali and surrendered to his master Thakur Ramkrushan Paramhansa.The difficultly period was over and He joined as one of the delegates of that religious cofernces. Swami Vivekananda got an opportunity of delivering his speech which was so heart touching that no one could forget.His address of American brothers and sisters was verily accepted by all and they clapped loudly for about five minutes.The whole America accepted him as a great spiritual propagator and he went to various contries for addressing the peolpe and became popular in the world.when swamiji returned ,he was greeted by the people of our country.His was successful in setting up a math at Belur and this math is named as Belur Math.It has a vast landed surface and we find to cover all its surfaces.we see the a beautiful temple at Thakur Ramkrushan Paramhansa ,built in the Japanese model.we bow down and pray to Thakur Ramkrushan Paramhansa and thus enjoy the visiting of the that math,the magnificent one.This is our spiritual and cultural center of religion,heritage and practices of humanity. At 1 PM we left the Belur math and came to the fherry ghat and caught a passenger boat for The Kali temple of Dakhineswar of Kolkata.The boat journey across the river Ganga is pleasurable one.It tales only 20 to 30 minutes to reach at the temple kali ghat.At 2 PM we arrived at the temple.we had a divine Darshan of Maa Kali.There was a time at the age of 14years Gadadhar came to Dakhineswar kali mandir as a boss priest.in the later years Gadadhar by his deep spirutual sadhanas and continuous moral practces became Thakur Ramkrushan Paramhansa and transformed Narendra nath dutta to great Swami vivekananda.this pious seat was the seat of deep Sadhana of the Thakur Ramkrushan paramhansa.let us rember, Thakur married a girl named Sarada Mani of the Village Jayarambati of Bengal at very tender age .There was prevailjng of the system of child marriage.But the thakur addressed his wife Sarada Devi as Maa kali and never misbehaved her.she came and lived with him in the Dakhineswar KALI temple corridor and served all the devotees of Ramkrushan.orginally this temple belonged to Rani Rasamani Devi and the thakur worked hera as the priest of the temple.Having finished the dibya darshan of the Dakhineswar KALI temple,we went to the hotel and had launch.Thus our kolkata trip has come to an end. We have to say goodbye to kolkata at 5PM on the same day.then we caught the train,Jagannath Express from Shalimar Station,kolakata.we safely reached my daughter's house at 5am early in the morning just before the starting of the cyclone,Ornaba.Thanks to lord jagannath for our safest trip to kolkata.
