There was a girl named Ariva, a name rooted in Sanskrit, meaning “one with divine wisdom and grace.” She truly lived up to her name. It was said that she was blessed by the universe itself whatever she wished for, either happened instantly or unfolded with an eerie precision in the days that followed. She didn’t call it magic, but those around her did.

Ariva had something rare a golden thread connecting her heart to something higher. Her gut instincts were never wrong. She would say, "I feel like I'm going to meet so-and-so today," and within hours or a couple of days, that person would cross her path. She didn't chase outcomes she felt them, trusted them, and somehow, they arrived.

But what made her gift truly beautiful was the way she used it with purity and intention. One of the first manifestations that made her believe in her oower happened in second grade.

She had just joined St. Thomas High School, wide-eyed and new, scanning the playground filled with already-formed friend circles. That’s when she saw Modika the school's chess prodigy and a state-level champion. Modika was also the class topper, admired by teachers and students alike. Ariva, from a distance, admired her too ot with envy, but with a deep, intuitive knowing.

“I want her to be my best friend,” she whispered to herself one day, looking at Modika from across the classroom. At the time, they barely spoke, busy in their owoups and small worlds. Yet two years later, fate, or perhaps Ariva's quiet prayer, intervened Ariva moved into the same apartment building as Modika.

At first, it was casual brief interactions in the building lobby, running into each other on staircases, shared glances at the society’s playground. But slowly, those moments turned into long games, silly jokes, sleepovers, and the kind of conversations only childhood can hold. And just like that, they became best friends not by accident, but by alignment.

Now in 11th grade, life has grown busier. Modika has taken up Science, her days packed with labs and coaching, while Ariva has chosen Arts — a stream that gives her space to breathe, reflect, and write. They no longer meet every day, and the hours once spent side-by-side have faded into memories. Yet their bond remains untouched ike a thread that stretches but never breaks.

What fascinates those who know Ariva is how her life keeps unfolding in patterns of grace. Whenever she prays, she never just receives — she receives more than she ever asked for. Scholarships she hadn’t applied for. Opportunities that land in her inbox. Friendships that feel like soul contracts. It's as though the Divine listens to her not just as a child, but as a co-creator of her destiny.

People say Ariva is lucky. But those who know her deeper, know it's not luck. It’s alignment. It's intention. And it’s her unshakable faith in the unseen.
