Anna's Savage Grandma (Part 1)

Today, the sudden memories of my grandma flashed my mind!

My grandma was a wise and charming lady! I used to listen to her for hours without getting bored and we both used to exchange our life experiences and laugh a lot.

She was the only person after my father and my best friend whom I used to trust and admire so much!

She had a great sense of humor and a tint of intensity in her words which were enough to attract a teenager!

She was a person I wasn't ready to lose in my solitary life!

But maybe I wasn't lucky enough to have her in my life for some more laughs and time!

But her words were truly eternal!

They still heal me when I shatter, stop me when I'm about to do something wrong, help me when I need, and remind me of where I stand!

She was, of course, very experienced!

She had met the joys of childhood, the perils of teenage, the struggles of adulthood, and the inevitable woes of her complicated life!

Still, she had an ease in her words, a gentle heart, and a pretty, killer smile!

She used to tell me the 20 truths of life-the best words I have ever heard in my whole life! Those truths were like a collection of everything you need in every phase of your life!

I like to recall them whenever I feel tired in life! Today is one such day!

 1. Never open yourself to someone until you are highly sure of the actual person inside!

  There are genuine people in the world but not all are what they show or what you think they are!

2. Listen as much as you can! "You're earning countless yet unseen benefits by just doing that!" she would say.

3. "A woman needs to be financially and        emotionally independent.Period."

  She surprisingly had a great knowledge of internet slang and I was clueless how?

4. You are always attracted towards the BAD!

  But, you need to control if it causes DESTRUCTION or DISTRACTION.

5. The way they show love on screens is not real!

  What's real is far more different, complex yet beautiful!

6. Expecting is a human flaw. But, remind yourself every once in a while that it is only going to break you from inside!

7. "The first steps of love are trust and understanding! Always keep them there(at the first)!" she'd say showing off the profundity of speech she verily had.

8.  Everyone and everything are coins and they always have two sides. Never forget to look on the other side!

9. Happiness is temporary,so is pain! Never go too far!

10. Being too austere may lead you to a dark path where you would have lost life!
