An Email Phonomena

An email was received in Ritesh's inbox at 4 AM.

Dear Ritesh,

     You won the 1,00,000 $ in our annual lucky draw. Please confirm your bank account details by sending a transfer fee of Rs.2,000/- to complete the process.

Ritesh's day starts with reading emails. Important, unimportant, labels, sent mail, spam and everything. He enjoys those moments.

As soon as he received the lucky draw mail, he started jumping in happiness. He didn't even take breakfast. He threw the resume from the window of his bachelor room.

He asked for money from his roommate and transferred the amount. He praised the lucky stars.

One week passed. His roommate Raju observed his weird behaviour of Ritesh.

Hey, what happened. Why are you not eating? He asked.

Bro, I won the lottery through the mail. It's a secret. I am going to get 1 Million dollars. I am waiting for the amount. Ritesh said in a positive tone.

Are you crazy? Show me the email. Raju asked.

This might be a fake one. Have you checked the sender's address? It is a fake one. The email saythe s amount in dollars but your need to pay the transfer fee in rupees. They should mention everything in dollars. Right?

Wait. Let me open the email. Raju opened and showed the same type of email on his computer.

It also says Raju won the lucky draw. 

Ritesh started crying. That means I have been cheated. He murmured.

Let's complain about cyber security. Raju suggested.

Rites did not get any money back. But, his life changed from that day. He stopped believing in those phiishing mails. Sometimes friends call him dollar Ritesh.
