A way of life

     Long ago, before there were president.it was during the rule of kings 

     King Richard rules over the land Oswalis , people were happy with his rule 

  A young maiden lived at that time , Lunar .

She was a happy citizen of the nation . Everyone in the village knew and cherished her because of her cheerful and bubbly personality.

  

   It was a lovely morning, lunar went to the market for buying items that were necessary.

She was humming and walked towards the market .

   " Good morning lunar, I've been trying to chase this cat like everyday "

   " Good morning Aunt Esther, dont you think it's better to raise that cat . I think it likes you , by seeing the way it's eating from your shop everyday " 

   " I was thinking that but , it isn't coming back to me " 

   " Patience Aunt Esther it will come to you" 

 

  Lunar walked back after buying things from market. Lunar had a sickly mother waiting for her back at home, so she hurried back home . Her mother's days were numbered. No physician in the village was able to cure her mother but ahe didn't lose hope 

  " Mother I'm back I've bought some healthy food for you " 

  " Oh ! My dear you should stop worrying about me " 

  " I'm going to the lake mother , if you need me just call me " 

  Lunar might seem bold and confident but, she was just broken inside . Her mothers condition was listening everyday event all her feelings by writing about them in a book. she kept it hidden that you could read and write. In that era if you were a made in you could read and write they were considered witches she started writing, 

   " Dear mother is still very sick she has an eaten anything properly in these few days......"

She started enjoying the light Breeze after writing for sometime

  

  She saw someone, a young man beside the banks. she is stood up and went towards the man to see who he was he looked like someone from an aristocratic background I she was looking at him he suddenly woke up with a jolt she got a bit scared but get it courage to talk to him

   

   He explain that he was rabeth karl vasis from the duchy of vasis. He ran away but fell in the lake and fell asleep on the banks after coming out of it.Now, he needed a place to hide before going back she agreed to keep him after he begged her .They reached her house and she told him about her sick mother and how she feels bad that she can't save her 

  

   It had been few days since Rabeth started staying hidden with them, surprisingly her mother started getting in better condition ten before, she could walk around better, Lunar was a bit surprised and suspicious to why her mother was getting better when she was on the doorstep of death just yesterday, but didn't say anything she was too happy not to lose her mother 

  After a few days she found out that it was Rabeth who used his last medicine that he brought with himself to treat her mother she was very grateful to him for that after that they became a lot more friendly 

  It was almost time for Aruba loof , a festival when markets are decorated and everyone dance and drink to their heart's content . Games and activities are held for men it is said that if you win the Aruba loof game and present the win to the lady in your heart, it's likely the lady will accept. the game was to hunt down prey as the village was near the forest so it was likely that animals attack the villages the night before the game is the night market where people enjoy themselves

  Lunar was getting ready for the Aruba loof night market. Rabeth asked 

 " Why are you getting ready and where are you going ?"

  They had become close to each other to talk a bit freely to each other 

  " I'm going to Aruba loof night market. Do you want to join me ,your grace ?"

  " I'm currently hiding, how do you think , I'll enjoy the festival " 

  " Just where this cloak no one will notice you " 

  " Yeah ! No one will notice my blon hair and sapphire Blue eyes. RIGHT ??"

  " We can die your hair black and just cover your eyes a bit with the cloak as well , I can't be seen with you I have to wear a cloak as well. "

  They both set of for their Aruba loof night stroll they saw a vendor playing cards promising a reward if he lost. Lunar sat to play with the vendor she offered Rabeth to play with her but he refused 

  

  " I'm from a prestigious and renowned family , it doesn't suit me to play like that " 

   " Surrreeee....... Your grace , just sit down and play " 

  " And don't call me your grace just call me by my name , it's too crowded here" 

  " Why are you all red while saying this , and wouldn't it be disrespectful if I say your name"

  " I'm not red and just say name or I might get caught" 

  " Ok , as you say your gra... I mean Rabeth and loosen up we're here to enjoy not work " 

   It was a wonderful night they both enjoyed themselves to the fullest it was like they found a Paradise were they can be free and never have a bad day.

  " You know what, lunar if this keeps on I might as well stay here forever I feel free from the load of work" 

  " You should stay then, my mum also became healthier after you came and if you want to stay, listen to your heart do what you want" 

  " Do what I want ...." 

  This was the time when lunar learned about Rabeth's childhood. He had a harsh time he was taught to suppress his emotions force to learn swordship and how he never got to do what he wants after listening to him lunar shared her liking for writing, to be able to express a feelings to her story they had a much better time just talking about themselves in a way it feel like they new each other better. 

  It was the day of the game. Rabeth participated in the game even after lunar said no, but that stubborn man who acts like a child insisted on joining the game .

  With Rabeth's amazing sword skills he haunted lots of prey which eventually lead to him winning the game after the game he was feeling extreme happiness like he was alive for the first time 

   

   Announcer:- " the winner of this years Aruba loof game is .... Rainer " 

  Of course it was a fake name for Rabeth suggested by lunar. Rabeth was awarded with a wrath of flowers it was a ritual to present the wrath to the lady in their  heart

    

  Rabeth :- " to the lady in my heart , who taught me a way to live again who make s me feel alive , my hope ..." 

 He came towards Lunar and offered the wrath to her 

..... To the lady in my heart , Lunar I've come to like you " 

  " Ra - Rabeth omg how should I say this I like you too " 

  It was a beautiful moment , a perfect moment that shouldn't get ruined , Right ?

  That's the speciality of life, and unexpected thin one my thing everything is good , but it doesn't ; does it

   After the event, Lunar and Rabeth returned home lunar was very happy and wanted to share the news with her mother. she opened the door to find her mother dead on the floor dripping blood. In a corner of the house she found soldiers there with their captain holding a sword blood dripping down from it

 " Sir heler , why are you here " 

  " Your grace , we've been informed that you were spotted in this area ... In this ....house " 

  " WHY DID YOU KILL MY MOTHER, WHAT DID SHE EVEN DO TO YOU"

 " We have order from my duke to kill as many lives needed to bring back his son" 

  Lunar was in rage, she loved her mother. for her, mother was her life she couldn't bear the pain ,it was a worst nightmare, she stepped forward taking Rabeth's sword she was ready to take the captain's life .Rabeth try to stop her but she didn't listen her senses were consumed by her rage 

 

   It felt like a bloodbath , the captain and Lunar were fighting with swords . Lunar was hurt, she couldn't stand anymore. She was caught by Rabeth before she hit the floor . Rabeth held her in this arms . 

  " Why did you do that ? Hold on I'll take you to a physician" 

 " No , Rabeth there's no time left " 

  " Don't say that I can - I will save you " 

Rabeth already had tears in his eyes, lunar could see them she couldn't bear seeing her mother , never did she imagine her life without her a small smile came on her face

 " Do you know if I lived it would cause more trouble than me being dead" 

 " What are you speaking ? " 

 

" The truth Rabeth , I would never be accepted by the aristocracy I am a commoner and I'll be with my mother now just tell me how much you love me I like to hear those words one last time " 

 " With all my life Lunar , I'd die to see you smile " 

  " For me keep on living...ack " 

" Your grace ... And the dying lady please be quick with whatever you have to say " 

 " SHUT UP " both shouted 

" Get out all of you " 

Ordered Rabeth 

" Keep on living for me I won't be able to live without my mother if I live I'll be in guilt of not saving her when she was getting better" 

 " Why did you do this? WHY?? You taught me my value and how to be alive now you are leaving me I'd rather follow you to your after life" 

 " No , your living for me. If not this time maybe and some other universe our fate's are intertwined maybe we're together there living a happy life in some other universe 

...... Goodbye , my beloved " 

She died in his arms while he cried aloud . He screamed and started laughing saying 

 " This can't be my heart can't take this pain but , she went away forever " 

  This was the last time lunar was heard or seen. Rabeth was broken , His heart knew the pain of losing all hope . His broken heart which just learned to be alive was broken again .

  

  With a heavy heart Rabeth return to his estate, a place which was know less than a cage for him 

  In a few years , Rabeth became well known as ' Beast of Battlefield ' he fought many battle, he turned his sadness to rage . 

  A banquet was held in return of Rebeth after winning the war , while talking to the nobles one of them ask if he loved someone as he was of marriageable age 

  " A broken heart doesn't love again, I'd rather not marry " 

  He came out of the banquet hall to the balcony 

  

  " Look at the moon , just like my Lunar's smile " 

 Ever since then Rabeth lived on with the memory of his beloved Lunar thinking about being together in some other life, waiting until he is with her again. 

   Maybe their love story was meant to be incomplete for now.
