Today, I woke up early. Although everything seemed familiar, something felt off.

I remembered sleeping peacefully the previous night, with absolutely no sound in the background. Suddenly, I heard the faint sound of a child crying. I stepped out of my room and saw a shadow at my doorstep. When I opened the door, I found a little child who resembled my son when he was a baby. The boy gazed at me for a moment, then suddenly, his face lit up with joy. He stopped crying, and I felt relieved.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed he had a bruised knee. It seemed he might have injured himself while playing.

After a while, his mother arrived. She looked petrified when she saw the wound. The boy casually pointed at me. I waved at her, but she didn't respond; she simply stared in my direction.

The boy walked toward me, knelt down, and shed a tear. I watched it fall, as if time had slowed. In that moment, an intense light flashed before me. It took me a moment to realise that I no longer existed in this world.

Interestingly, what I experienced was a moment that occurred at my home while I was taking my last breath on the battlefield.
